I home cook as well. I mostly eat Whole Foods, like an egg with some melon and an apple. Or Greek yogurt with banana and orange. I drink a lot of wine. I accept that it means my weight loss may be slower. I am trying to reduce quietly with myself. Any external forces piss me from and I then drink more. Plus, I have anxiety, and, sad as it is to say, wine helps reduce those feelings.

But. Drastic diet changes can effect gut processing. Usually I eat really well, so 2 days of restaurant foods will send me to the bathroom for a full clean out.
