Check out some of the challenges good way to get some motivating friends on mfp and have small goals to work towards Oh and if walking instead your thing try water aerobics or a water based activity it's easier in the joints in the beginning

Tips - buy a set of scales weigh everything no free foods like lettuce etc don't use cups and tablespoons for measurement weigh in grams -put your plate on the scales and set back to zero add 1 food log the weight or write it down zero scales again add next food & do all foods . CICO - means calories in calories out all calories count and not counting anything like in WW where they have free foods you often see people on hear surprised they are not losing what they expect to when they don't log so called free foods ... And the hard time just weigh it

And drinking lots of water will have other benefits , you feel fuller, your system works best when fueled well and hydrated well.... & remember it wont happen overnight so dont be to hard on yourself and weigh and log everything ....In Grams
