Yes I love going to Pure Barre. I just wasn't sure if I should be adding a bunch of cardio or heavy weights. I have a lot more to lose so I was kinda reaching out

I answered on your other thread about your meds

Welbutrin should be helpful for weight loss. However Zoloft and Paxil are the two weight gainers of the antidepressants. Your GP if they are any good should be able to safely and slowly change meds. Do not go cold turkey off any meds, reducing gradually under supervision is best. Please be very careful and get good medical…

He is 11 and wants to lose weight you said. So really I'd start with the Dr. and ask what his nutrition needs are first. Also you can't cut out all fun food. Remember lifestyle change, not diet. Now your parents should also be listening to him that he wants to lose weight. They should be taking him to the Dr. and learning…

That's a lot of calories for most people. I guess just try it and see if you lose.

Eat how you can maintain for life. For me intermittent fasting is an easy way to live so far. It seems to be the only way for me after 20 years of trying everything else. No rules just do what works for you

If you are really logging accurately and exercising and not losing something else is happening. First be absolutely sure your logging correctly. If so you need metobolic testing to see what's going on physically

For machines the Nordick track freestyle is awesome. You can stair step and elliptical on one machine or straight up run on it. It burns way more calories then my treadmill with incline. Love my treadmill to but that freestyle on high resistance doing stairclimber makes for nice tight legs.

I'm so sorry that you have to go through that. But you need to tell him the house and kids are as much his responsibility as yours. So he can either switch off with you or both pay for someone helping around the house. That's that, do not settle for less then you deserve because he's selfish. He's not being a good guy by…

Has caffeine so can dehydrate you if it's all you drink. My mother in law got sick because it was all she was drinking. Just an FYI I'm not saying it's the only thing your drinking.

I keep having medication changes that do not help one bit.

People seriously if she changed salt and veggies and it helped so what? Obviously she was busting her *kitten* on top of that.

Believe it or not if you lose down to the lowest possible body fat skin pulls in. Most women can't do it so they elect surgery. The only way is really heavy weights.

No such thing as starvation mode. And yes everything weigh and measured. People have to stop thinking metobolic disorder doesn't exist. It's real folks

I just upped to 1600 we shall see what happens.

Well that's at 1000 calories per day and 12 hours of strength training and cardio a week. And MFP set my calories way higher then my actual burn. Had to get hoopla of tests etc

I only eat from 12 noon to 8 pm. Works great for me. Every other day thing I'm thinking about. Has anyone tried both? What can we expect to lose with every other day?
-
I only eat between 12 noon and 8 pm. Seems to be working for me so far. I didn't realize it was called intermittent fasting until I saw threads about it on MFP

All that matters is personal progression, not the charts.

I was holding 8 pounds of water from humidity once. The Dr took one look at me and prescribed water pills. That night I lost 8 pounds. For some people weather is an issue. It will drain without the pill too, just takes longer.
