Robin- seems we are very similar. I like you only needed a size 6 once in my life in high school when I weighed mid to upper 140s. It's good to know I'm not delusional about sizing. I was confused since most of my taller friends always wear much bigger sizes. But now that I think about it objectively, even though they look…

I'm a runner.. When I'm in my best shape I'm much smaller and much lower bf than all the weight lifters I know.. It doesn't make sense for my training or my body type ( rail) to be lifting weights heavily that often.. I do mostly circuit exercises which use the same muscle groups as certain weight machines. I prefer…

Oh and to whoever asked about my picture.. I'm too embarrassed to put my real picture up on this site :p I'm still immature enough to be embarrassed that I am on a diet and relying on a calorie app

Robin.. That's so true I never really thought of that before. It's true I look basically the same as I always have as an adult. And some 30 year olds look really good! It's hard to guess age. I'm just so surprised that someone could think I was way older than 25, when I'm used to being carded and strangers ( who are not…

Rob the thing about those predictions is they never work for me.. I exercise a LOT so chances are I will have burned that .5 off by tomorrow.. I run about 80 miles a week. 10 miles every morning and a 5k at night

Stacy- I would have maybe ate slightly more before but nothing crazy. I think what is new and a victory is that I didn't beat myself up over it. I woke up, ate my normal breakfast, drank a coffee and went on my usual long morning run  feels good o:)

I only experienced a two pound gain.. But it is most likely the weight of the food

Also it's possible he saw the weight and was shocked at such a high number. One time as a child I gained ten pounds and the number was quite high and my doctor had a similar reaction. A bmi of 42 is very overweight might even be morbid obese. There's a chance he doesn't get morbid obese patients day to day and was up…

Thanks guys!! Wondering if anyone knows how it affects rate of weight loss the week after eating so much? Hope more people post and someone can help answer that

Not to hurt your feelings but I do think there is SOME correlation from bmi to a rough body fat percentage.. Like the only cases where bmi is way off are in professional athletes ( or competitive athletes) aka 2-5% of the population, and in taller folks ( like me who's 5'10). I have found when my body fat goes down so does…

Starvation mode

You do it whether you have the time or not. I have been waking up at 5 am to go running, and then I typically work out right after work as well.

Supposed to say 90 for 10 minutes not hour
-
Also the people saying your calorie burns are over are not considering an important factor which is pace.. If I run sub 6 miles I burn 100-200 calories every ten minutes which is quite a lot since not many people can operate at that level. If I run a 9 minute mile my burn may only be 90 or so an hour.. Either way a good…

Well I upped my cardio.. For normal non athlete types they can just eat less but as runners we can't. In my case, eating a normal amount of calories for a diet leaves me faint and starving. I have to eat a total of about 2100 calories a day to not starve. I also do 2-3 hours cardio at least 3x a week ( marathon training)…
