  • Goals for this week: *Complete all 6 workouts in Jillian Michaels's Body Revolution Week 5 *Stay within my calories all week then enjoy a dessert guilt-free on Friday night *Don't turn to emotional eating to cope with election stress :#
  • Looks awesome! Thanks for putting this together.
  • I'm a realist . . . before I found this group I set my own start date for my weight loss journey as Nov 1st. Haha. I knew Halloween would be hard, but now that it's behind me I'm all in. I just put day 3 of hitting my calorie goal in the books and while that's not much, I'm proud of it. After all, this transformation thing…
  • Hey all! I'm psyched about this group. My larger goal is to lose 30 lbs by my birthday in May, but 10 lbs by Christmas is about what I'd need to get there so I've made it a mini goal to help me on my way. It also looks like a lot of us have similar-ish starting stats, which is nice . . . Name: Sarah Height: 5'6" Weight:…
  • Thanks everybody! I think I'll save these for summertime when I can mix them with running. It sounds like they won't give me the cardio I'm looking for.
  • Add me! I'm 5 weeks postpartum with my 3rd baby and want to lose my remaining 13 lbs of baby weight + 20 lbs more to reach the 120s
  • I crave anything involving tomatoes and cheese. Pizza, lasagna, etc. Haha. Luckily there are healthy-ish versions of most of them!
  • And Lisa--we are all different and I think you are doing great
  • I'm 20 weeks and up 12 lbs--and dang proud considering how much I had gained by halfway last time around! I do hope to slow my gain a tad though to stay under my final goal of 30 lbs.
  • I have worried too! Wearing repellent like crazy
  • Take this with a grain of salt: I gained 55lbs apiece in my past two pregnancies by eating garbage nonstop and not exercising, so I've never had a start-to-finish pregnancy that anyone would want to imitate (but got 2 healthy babies out of them in spite of all the ice cream, thank heavens). But this one has been great so…
  • Love this thread. I think all pregnant women feel some stress here. Something that has helped me is having friends here on MFP who have their babies and watch their weight loss after--much of it really does just fall off after delivery, and the rest will go soon enough if you make healthy choices. Keeping that in mind…
  • Ooh everyone chime in! I am also hoping to stay under 30 lbs and would love to know what your calories daily were or anything else that helped you gain so healthily.
  • My mom had GD when she was pregnant for me so my risk is increased. I'm trying to be proactive by controlling my gain and working out, but I agree that it seems random from those I know who've had it, so who knows.
  • It sounds like most of us are doing great. I'm 16w2d and CRAZY hungry but no longer grappling with nausea. I started feeling movement this past week and will find out gender May 9th if Baby cooperates.
  • I had all sorts of crazy fluctuation first trimester, but today I'm 14 weeks and have gained 4lbson the nose--started at 147.0 back when I got my positive test January 31st and was 151.0 this morning. Considering how much bigger my boobs and belly are I feel awesome about my gain, and since I've actually worked out really…
  • So glad to hear most of us are hitting the fun part: less nausea, less fatigue, maybe sharing the news or even starting to show a bit
  • Thanks! I friended you both and am glad to have more friends who are tracking for two.
  • I'm in maternity pants at 11w2d for comfort (that panel feels glorious! My normal jeans are strangling me) and sticking with normal shirts that are looser, since my belly isn't big enough for maternity shirts yet but I don't want to stretch out anything fitted. I've only gained about 3 lbs but this is my third pregnancy,…
  • My daughter is Aurora and we sometimes call her Rorie for short. It's classic but uncommon, and the name vs nickname is fun.
  • My first baby I gained 55 lbs but lost it all by tracking but eating far too little--I rebounded about 10 lbs the next month and it took another 6 months to permanently lose it. With my second baby I gained 55 lbs as well but was less aggressive and focused in trying to lose it after--no tracking, just lots of running and…
  • Bump the 140 thing--my dr said there's no harm in staying under 140 if that makes you feel better but previously fit women can just keep doing what they do regardless of that 140 (unless it's a contact sport or something inherently dangerous, of course). I think it's very rare for any working out to actually be detrimental…
  • I'm liking how tracking at maintenance feels too. I actually dropped DOWN 4 lbs this past week just doing that, so I'm now 10 weeks and up just 2 lbs, which is right on track with my goals. Wahoo! I think I'll go up a few hundred calories and try to gain a pound per week once I'm in second trimester. It's nice to see…
  • Ooh I love T25! I finished that up right before testing positive with this baby. I bet it's awesome to do pregnant as long as you stick with Tania as needed. Good for you for staying fit!
  • It's been comforting to see such wide variation! I am DETERMINED to stay under 30 lbs gained this time around (after gaining 55lbs apiece in my first 2 pregnancies) but am already off to what I thought was a terrible start. I'm 9 weeks now and up 6 lbs. That's not great, but it looks like a lot of people have wonky first…
  • My due date was changed too—my doc does an appt with ultrasound at 6 weeks but we didn't see a baby (WHICH SCARED ME!!!) and he had me come back in 2 weeks to see if I just wasn't as far along as my last period would show. Sure enough our little baby showed up at the follow up and my due date got moved from September 29th…
  • Also: I just set a goal for myself to complete one round of Beachbody Brazil Butt Lift over the next six weeks (spreading it out so that I work out like 45 minutes a day instead of the 90ish I'd do some days if I stuck with the standard 4-week calendar). While I eat crap I'm actually quite fit and think this will be a…
  • Hey! I just found this thread. I'm due October 12th. I've been queasy all day then okay at night—and have totally overeaten junky food then and have actually GAINED weight due to my morning sickness! Haha okay due to my lack of self control. But I just joined MFP today to try to get back on a healthy track and…
