  • I still have 26lbs to go but this is a comparison of my highest weight 161lbs (not including pregnancies) in 2020 to exactly 20lbs down 141lbs. Not quite halfway but it helps to celebrate on the way to the big goal🙂
  • @AlexEllaK i had my kids two years apart and understand the weight struggles! Check out Instagram_vs_reality on IG and Stephanie Lange on YT. These really helped me realize that it’s ALL fake and they edit everything…no one really looks like they do on IG. These channels were really eye opening. I’ve heard that comparison…
  • Hi @AlexEllaK Congratulations on your new baby! First one? Finding balance after babies takes some time so give yourself grace;) Mine are now 10 & 12 but it took time to feel like I found my new normal:) I don’t have any friends IRL either (besides my mom) to discuss my weight loss journey. It seems if you bring it up with…
  • I’ve been eating at least 1300 cals per day and more sometimes if I exercise. It was annoying to be up 2-3lbs for over a week but I finally had a loss this morning and hit my low for 2022 of 140.0!!! I am so close to being in the 130s. I got down to 138.8 last year before losing it on vacation and not getting back on track…
  • Welcome ladies! It’s so nice to have some new participation in the thread!! @lilleyorama I have lost and regained as well and know that feeling of defeat:( You should be proud of yourself, tho, because here you are with the desire to be the best version of you!! Weight loss is mostly due to the calories in, so it’s ok if…
  • I am 5’1 hw 161 sw 2022 148 cw 141 gw 115. I’m on my feet for my job but I wouldn’t call it active as I’m mostly standing and moving my arms. Exercise 30-60min 5 days/week. Was eating 1000 (sometimes slightly less) and was losing well but then I stopped losing, got super lethargic, and binged. I did some research and…
  • @plumwd idk why they’d censor a bikini…I see loads of bikini pics
  • Ok, a little update, I’m pretty sure I was t eating enough calories. I was eating a little less than 1000 per day and still getting a little low intensity exercise each day. My job is a hairdresser so I’m on my feet a lot but it’s not particularly active so I figured I’m sedentary. I felt fine doing this the first month I…
  • @200Karen DDPYoga is a strength building yoga. I saw videos of testimonials on YouTube and it got me curious. I use an app but there are also dvds if you prefer that route. I can see and feel my body changing with the muscles I’m building. I have developed definite biceps that have a beautiful line when I flex and in my…
  • I personally love the dannon light and fit greek yogurt in vanilla. I dip apples or mix frozen fruit in it and it’s so good. 80cals
  • Well, I’ve been back at it for exactly a month and I’m down 7lbs! I’ve been weighing in between 140-141 the last few days. I’ll be so excited to get back to 138.6 which is the lowest I got to last year. I’ve been eating 1000-1200 and doing either DDPYoga or riding my exercise bike for 30-45min each day. It feels really…
  • That I’d be feeling all over my body while I’m going to sleep at night…I’m always rubbing my hands over my tummy, hip bones, boobs, thighs, etc to see if I can feel my body changing. My hip bones have just recently started poking out a little when I’m laying on my back. And sadly my boobs have deflated a bit more just…
  • Ah yes, “comparison is the thief of joy”. I, too, get sucked into comparing and degrading myself. I’ve been a little mad that I wasted my younger years hating my body, but never sticking to it long enough to get to where I want to be. I am working on my mindset, though, and I find that if I’m doing things each day to…
  • What are your stats (weight & height)?
  • Still have about 27lbs to go so this is before and during but at 5’1 it just goes to show that a little weight can make a lotta difference :) I love seeing y’all’s progress!!
  • @callsitlikeiseeit Im also 5’1! Short ladies unite
  • I think if most of us could listen to our body and stop eating when full we wouldn’t be here… overweight. I can’t speak for everyone but I am a fairly small person in height but I can put down A LOT of food without feeling full. I absolutely have to track my food or I will gain rather than lose. Maybe once you’ve tracked…
  • I lose all control with some things (a certain couple of chocolate candies specifically) where I seriously feel like an addict. If I eat these candies then I almost have an out of body experience that I feel I cannot stop eating them and then it gives me practically insatiable cravings for them for days! I don’t know why I…
  • Oh there’s a mini cake Ww recipe my mom used to make that was good. It’s called 3-2-1 mug cake. You mix a full box of whatever cake mix you like and a box of angel food cake, portion them into little baggies with 3 tbsp each. When you want a cake you get a mug (add non stick spray), mix the 3tbsp mixture, 2 tbsp water, mix…
  • I have certain foods that are certainly trigger foods that I lose control when I eat. If it’s something like that I would not eat any and find something yummy that fits your plan of action. If you can eat some or one and be satisfied and you really want it then I would figure out the cals you need to save or earn to fit…
  • I don’t have nearly as much experience as a lot of the ppl giving answers but the one thing I would contribute is that I would absolutely record cheat days/meals in MFP. That way when the scale isn’t doing what you expected you can go back through your food diary and see what you ate that could be effecting the scale. It…
  • Great work! I look forward to hearing the testimonies:)
  • Getting to 138. Currently 143 but got down to 138 last year and got derailed so my initial goal is to get back to my 2021 low then on to reaching my goal of 115 by my 40th bday in July!!
  • Well girls, I am back at it. 5’1 143 with a goal of 115. I have started several times before and I ended up quitting. Start 2021 at 155 and got down to 138, went on vacation and decided to eat as much of whatever because…vacation! Bad idea…I just could not seem to get it back together and gained nearly all of it back. I…
  • My 40th is this year, too! I have almost 30# I’d like to lose by July:) I’ve tried so many times before but having such a milestone bday I just want to feel sexy this summer and feel great in a swimsuit and and be fabulous at 40!! Good luck to you!!
  • I’ve had the same goal for several years to lose 30-35lbs and get to my ultimate goal weight. I’ve given up in the past, but my 40th bday is this July and I really want to hit my goal by then and learn to maintain and see this through!
  • You look amazing! I am so inspired by you:) I’ll be 40 later this year and I want to lose 33lbs and be in the best shape of my adult life when I hit this milestone bday! I, too, work and have a husband and kids and it’s so easy to have all the excuses but I’m going to follow your lead and really do this thing!!
  • Why are you going on a liquid diet? Is it medical?
