  • Nope. And it's not a good idea to do so, especially when you're trying to maintain a smaller deifict or are closer to GW. the reason being that at 2 to 400 calorie deficit can be wiped out by just one or two mistracked or misweighed meals. Also provided that most fitness trackers are up to 20% inaccurate, it's just not…
  • haha this made me giggle thanks for the larf lemurcat
  • I'm cutting and down to 1200 high protein too! when people freak out about going 200 cal over at 2500 or more I just laugh. Until you've dealt with a margin of error as small as we currently are I think it's a little silly to get so upset over a few cals over. The difference between 200 cals over at 2500 vs. 1200 is pretty…
  • LOL I like your style Jeannie. You're not the only one!
  • hi Tiaan - nice to meet you :) I'm currently using IF (16/8) to assist in the last 20 lbs of my cut and it's been working really well. When I suffer from lack of motivation I normally will go watch some of my favorite fitness youtubers and get inspiration from their "what I eat in a…
  • Hi Abby! I'm also looking for solid motivation and support and would love to connect :) I'm currently just over halfway through a very successful cutting phase and it's definitely getting harder but I hope I can provide some good advice for adherence and sticking to your plan. Cheers!

  • how accurately are you tracking your macros? do you weigh everything you put in your mouth? I had to do it for the first few weeks until I got a good idea of what portion sizes should look like. at the end of the day you have to be in a caloric deficit to lose weight, so if you're gaining weight you're not eating in a…
  • thanks for adding me! Definitely agree gradual changes are key. I will most definitely stick to that when reversing out of the diet in a few weeks. Canada for the win! :)
  • totally.. I'd rather just be able to pick up a piece of clothing and know if it's going to fit or not. I've gotten a lot better at eyeballing stuff and knowing if it will fit or not because labels cannot be trusted!
  • I've returned to this thread several times since I started my weight loss journey (30 lbs down!) hoping someone had posted something a bit more concrete answering what this is and if it's normal. Happy to share the following video which is really useful for illustrating that yes - this is normal adipose tissue resulting…
