I'll give that a try and keep that in mind, thanks!

I have to completely agree with this. While I love my foam rolling and the hip flexor tightness is what made me start, I do find that stretching works best for that area (for me at least)
-
That's so funny that you say that, hip flexors are exactly why I started rolling as well!! It's crazy how much they affect tightness in the waist/lower back area
-
It works WONDERS for muscle soreness, now that I've done it I could never go back to living without it lol
-
Same here! Did you see where it says not to foam roll the lower back? What are your thoughts on that? I've been doing it for ages and don't seem to experience any issues, but maybe I should let up... lol
-
I'd say yes for sure, there are so many things I can do at the gym that just aren't possible at home.
-
Couldn't have said it better myself. +1 for this
-
Still haven't eaten :s been so busy at work this morning and just now getting a break, will likely make myself a healthy breakfast burrito!
-
Yup, not daily, but I do on the weekends. Haven't had any problems so far, as long as the rest of your diet is pretty healthy you should be alright.
-
It's funny, I always workout at night but when I workout in the morning I feel stronger. All depends on personal preference I suppose!

Rad tattoo!

Your thinking is correct: men and women can do the same exercises for butt, gender doesn't matter. Some popular exercises off the top of my head are squats, hamstring curls, lunges, and cable kickbacks, but I'm sure there are a lot on Google.

Did you miss the part where MinmoInk said "in my uneducated and completely personal opinion." ?? Not trying to get in the middle of anything but honestly, what's the point of arguing about this? I'm actually on your side in that I don't see any harm in late night eating, but the beauty of opinions is that everyone is…

Killer job!! This is major progress, keep up the good work!

Badass mustache!

The biggest question/best motivating words I can give you are these: how bad do you want it? If you want it bad, you'll get it! It may get hard down the road, but remember why you started and don't let anything stop you. Stay focused and kick *kitten*, best of luck!

There's really no type of smoothie that's going to burn fat, but give a look into thermogenic foods (types of foods that burn energy as you eat them). Make a smoothie out of those and this will be the closest you get!

Mostly just has to do with your body and complexion, but there's always those few people who just forget to properly breathe during exercise so make sure you're doing that! :)
-
You're going to laugh but I chose 180 because that's how much this ripped dude weighed in a movie I watched when I just started working out :D
-
On a different note, I just wanted to pipe in and say make sure you work your body into the weight vest routine. Start with light weight and add more as you get used to it. A lot of people slap on too much weight at first and it can really screw up the body, especially if you plan to run with it.

I don't personally do yoga but I do stretch for about 20 minutes before AND after weight lifting and I love it. IMO it helps with my flexibility quite a bit.
-
"Drinking less" - first red flag I see... :D All jokes aside, ASKyle nailed it above. Make sure you're burning more than you eat.
-
Love this lol

Never really had a quote helping me through, but a recent one from the UA commercials is great: "it's what you do in the dark that puts you in the light"
-
I think it's great to do this in addition to your regular diet, but I'd never replace my real meals with juicing. It's a great energy booster and will keep your energy flowing throughout the day, but IMO you won't get near enough nutrients to use it as a meal replacement.

Learn to love the soreness now because if you want to start strength training you're going to be sore a lot! If you know you have a problem with quitting, start easy the first couple weeks and work your way into things so that your body learns to handle it. You could consider drinking protein shakes or taking other natural…

Came here to say this. Those are definitely the more troublesome areas to lose weight from, but unfortunately the only way to get rid of them is to keep doing what you're doing and don't stop till they're how you want them :)

Haha I appreciate this post :D but yes, to add to what some people said above, it's crazy to me how much different the attention is. I don't feel like I've personally changed as far as mindset, same goofy dude as before, but taking off my shirt is certainly much different than it used to be.

Hell yeah this is amazing! Great job and congrats on the success!!

+1 for FitnessBlender too, they have a lot of great "how-to" type posts.
