  • I’ve tried the lowcarbmaven recipe. It’s delish! I LOVE milk but found almond milk was very nice with the nutty/granola flavors.
  • I did 16:8 for 2 weeks and then added in a few 20:4 days. Because my husband travels for work every week, our weekends are closer to 12:12. It's what life allows. He does 16:8 while away and it helps that I have a partner doing it with me. I can do the 20:4 while he's traveling pretty easily.

  • Walmart carries a pretty good selection of VERY affordable workout clothes by Danskin and other brands. IDK about long sleeves this time of year tho.

Basically I buy the Costco brand of Miralax and Benefiber and make a 1:1 mixture. I put the mix in a pretty, airtight glass container with a cute spoon and store it near my coffee maker. I add…
  • I too am using Fung's "Complete Guide to Fasting" and have found great clarity in re-reading certain passages. I've been doing it for 2 weeks and lost about 7 lbs initially. Had a cheat weekend and bounced up a bit. Sunday's food planning triggered me to review a couple of things and I realized I was not applying all the…
  • Thank you everyone! I appreciate your input. This info is VERY helpful!
  • I love zipfizz (!) though I hate the packaging. But, you can buy electrolyte tablets. They sell them at Walmart, health food stores like GNC, and online. Tablets seem like they would be the best option for you regarding storage, portability, And ease-of-use. There are many manufacturers so you might find a recipe that…
  • You could always turn the tables and say, "Thanks for noticing! I've been workin hard and there are changes with every part of my body. Getting healthy and slim ain't for the faint of heart, that's for sure!" And then just shut up and wait for their next response. If it's not positive or apologetic, make a sophisticated…
