So if mfp says I should eat 1200 calories and I want to loose say 1pound a week I should eat 1000 calories? Thanks for all that info I have been doing both cardio and weights for both reasons but just wasn't sure if I was doing it right x

Thanks guys I have been doing about 40 mins cardio just to warm up then the weights just kind of training myself so not really sure how to get the best results tbh

Thanks mirabelle I am 5'6 and 9st11 I have lost 3 pound although I feel as tho I have lost more with my clothing I am not sure if it's because I am gaining muscle, x

Thanks guys I am having meals which include things like a stake one night chicken the next I am having meat with every meal and I am concerned that this could be too much, I am working out at least 4 days a week at the minute and doing a mixture of cardio and weights just want to make sure I have a good balance.
