Hiya. I have PCOS too. I attempted keto to help with my symptoms but I didn't find it sustainable at all. I know it works for some people however. I have lost 21lbs just sticking with my calories and eating what I want :)

I'm also a fellow cyster! I haven't cut anything out of my diet (originally tried low carb but it wasn't sustainable for me). I have lost 21lbs so far with MFP. Another 20 or so to go.

So. For now I'm just focusing on my calories (not macros). When I get to my goal weight I'll start to focus on macros but for now I'm not. I don't eat too unhealthily, I still eat fruit. But I don't deprive myself of anything, and if I want some chocolate I'll have some! I wasn't going to exercise until my goal weight…

1) To be 150lbs by the new year (currently 161). 2) To have completed C25K by the new year and be able to jog for 30 minutes straight (currently on week 4).

It doesn't work. The o my way to lose weight is to eat less calories than you burn. Your body cleanses itself.

Just calorie counting... I've friend most fad diets, and this is the only one that has worked for me. I've lost 20lbs so far, about 30 left. You're not going to be able to lost 10lbs in a month though, especially as you only have 10lbs to lose. If you had 100lbs to lose then it may be do-able. But I suspect a 1lb weight…

I know this has been said a lot, but discovering bones I've never seen before! It's amazing yet weird and creepy to see I actually have bones! I keep getting my mum to touch them, and I. Can't stop touching them!

I've done it many times on my iPhone. Go to upload a status, click 'add progress photo'. Choose a photo and then make sure you change from 'my fitness pal community' to 'my fitness pal friends'. Then upload.

SW: 181lbs (also my highest weight) CW: 161lbs GW: 135lbs (for now). I'm 5'3 and this is the most I've ever lost after years of fad diets. I'm hoping to be at 150 for the new year but we'll see. Please add me fellow short people! I'm on every day☺️

Add me! I'm also on 1200 cal a day. I usually snack on fruit, rice cakes, chocolate, a biscuit, chicken... anything goes really. I put all my meals into MFP at the beginning of the day so I know how many calories I have left for snacks, and then I go from there☺️

I think the minimum recommendation for women is 41g or something? I just try to eat above that. I don't take notice of the macros, just the calories. I think people looking to build muscle eat their body weight in lbs in grams. E.g. If they weight 140lbs, they try to aim for 140g of protein. That's what I've seen anyway :)

I have PCOS and couldn't stick to low carb as I found it unsustainable. I'm 18lbs down just by eating the calories MFP gives me :)

I have PCOS (no cysts though) and have lost 18lbs as of today. I don't do low carb as I don't find it sustainable but my weight loss has been gradual over the months. Birth control has improved many of my symptoms and I don't do any specific diets, just CI<CO. Add me if you like☺️

I have a take away (cheat meal) once a week. I try to either exercise a bit more, or eat a little less (-100 calories a day for example) so it doesn't have much of an effect. I've lost 17lbs. I don't go overboard on the take away though. But I tend to eat what I want during the day anyway and just fit it into my calories…

I couldn't stick to keto. I didn't find it sustainable and would binge. I find that being able to eat anything if I fit it in my calories works better as I'm not deprived therefore don't binge.
