  • Ok, I just worked out that you are almost 118kg. This means 200g is way too much. You might want to consider some of the above suggestions. I think they could be right.
  • 200g protein seems like a high protein goal. What is your weight and how much exercise are you doing? I am quite curious.

  • Slow release metformin is a possibility but may be you might like to discuss halving your metformin to 500mg once a day to reduce your symptoms. Also, long term metformin therapy can affect your vitamin B12 levels so please remind your physician to check your B12 levels whenever you do a blood test.
  • Walking is great. But consider some swimming, you might be pleasantly surprised how much more energy you can also burn while having fun.
