It's normal, I been hitting two week plateaus for 5 months. Then the weight falls off. As long as you are sticking with something that works for weight loss you'll be fine.

Carbing up and starching up can make you gain a ton of water weight. Sodium in egg drop soup a big bowl a spaghetti a large serving of ice cream can all make you gain a ton of water weight overnight.

I am supposed to be allowed 1200 calories a day to lose 2 pounds a week given my current weight. I also use the hunger scale to verify my daily diet choices combined with intermittent fasting. I would say as long as it's not making you sick. I like black coffee too, & have diet sodas in the food pantry. I like the convenience of being able to drink a diet soda just to give me some carbonation and flavor on the tongue.

I was 237 pounds on January 18th of this year. Am currently 196.6 pounds as of this morning. My goal weight is 175. Once I reach 175 pounds, I might want to shoot for 165. Am half ways there.

Hello my name is Josh. I been taking metformin for my type 2 diabetes for a few years. I have lost 36 pounds since January 2016. Will see my medical doctor on May 9th to compare my new blood work with last years blood work. I will be happy if my A1C has gone down.
