Someone gave us an avocado and some cherry tomatoes... which neither of us thought we liked! But I channeled my inner Instagram model and made this for lunch - it was surprisingly tasty!! It was also my first ever attempt at poaching an egg!

I weigh daily but only to be able to take the average of the week - it’s that average I’m paying attention to. I’ve only recently come to understand the daily fluctuations (see Ann’s super helpful post above for a great explanation!) and it was a game changer for my mindset.

I would second PurplePenguin’s suggestion of popcorn.You get quite a bit of it for the calories so feels like good bang for your buck! Given how much space it takes up it will also help you feel fuller. And for me at least it feels a bit more like a nice treat at the end of a day rather than a healthy sensible choice like…

I really recommend yoghurt for a low calorie, high protein breakfast. I have 125g fromage frais (or any low fat yoghurt will do just the same), a scoop of protein powder to add flavour, and I also have granola from myprotein which is very tasty and great macros.
