I'm 4'11" 132lbs and would like to lose about 10lbs. MFP gives me 50% carbs and 20% protein. I don't always use all my carbs up but hit my protein daily easily. Should I maybe lower the carbs increase protein? I'm not a marathon runner or anything so I feel like my carbs shouldn't be so high
-
MFP gave me 1200 calories and I can stick to that and not be hungry. But on Jenny Craig they give me 1200 calories as well and I'm starving.
-
Its weird because I logged all my foods I've been eating from Jenny and at the end of the day my numbers are on par with MFP...even sodium which you wouldn't think. I'm just starving. Do you guys feel 1200 calories is too low?

Geese can't poop while they're flying. Lucky for all of us!

My calorie count didn't subtract calories from my 4mi walk yesterday. Kept track of my steps but didn't touch the calories. I was pissed lol

I do accounting. Not active at all. However my company is becoming more health conscious and buying employees stand up desks if they want them. I got one and waiting for my portable elliptical to arrive! I'll be exercising at my desk any day now

Me too when I first started getting them and I didn't know what it was. They put me in this small room and I was freaking out so bad that I snuck out and left because I thought I was gonna die. A rational person would think a hospital would be a good place to be if you're thinking you're dieing lol. Smdh

I have a dog too and he definitely alleviates so much of my anxiety! I'm sure I'd be a full blown mess without him
-
Omg, you are my new hero. I would love to just push through the feelings like you. Guess I can expect it to happen overnight if it's taken you years. I'll keep trying. Thanks!
-
Same here. I haven't had an anxiety attack since I've started working out and watching calories. (knock on wood)[/quote] I've always worked out and watched my calories as much as possible and the funny part is, watching calories gives me anxiety! Like I get worried I'm not eating enough and will die. Lol I'm so weird

If I workout lightly to moderate, I'm usually fine. But it's when I really get my heart rate up is when that awful feeling starts to come on and I have to stop what I'm doing. There's been times I've basically ran out of the gym in panic
-
I take Effexor and it does work. But like I said when I workout and my heart rate is up that's when sometimes ok a lot of times the feeling of panic comes on and I have to slow it down. Very frustrating
-
Thanks! Do you recommend any brand of scale or are they all basically the same?

Even before I joined this I've tried to pay attention to what I eat. Then all this macro talk totally threw me off thinking there's more to weight loss then calories. I'll try your method and pay attention to calories until I get the hang of that first. Thanks
-
Thanks. I'll pay close attention to calories. All this macro talk is way over my head right now. I was curious about the default carb intake because I have a desk job so I would think I wouldn't need as many carbs. I figure the app knows better than me though
