Hi AJDUKEFAN - How are you going on your IF? :) Interested to get an update.

Interesting reading. One thing to clarify, I am assuming no matter if you are on 20g of carbs of 60g of carbs per day, you are still limiting your calorie intake? For example with weight loss, if I was eating 1500cal per day, one diet with 20g of carbs, and another with 60g of carbs, would I lose the same amount of weight?…

My diet is similar to this - I don't eat a lot of vegies. I do have magnesium supplements and take a multi, maybe I should start focus on eating more low starchy and carby vege. I don't think Bacon is a vegetable :(
-
AWESOME! I'd be happy with a 7 minute improvement too! WTG!
-
Thanks for this OP - the responses helped me too. Thanks all.

How old are you? Just burn more calories than you consume. Eat healthy foods, if you are young, you will naturally lose weight quickly. Just be careful around weight training though, especially if you are still on the younger side ie 16 or below. Good luck

I wish I had done it at 18! Looking good :)

Lot's of people have had success on shake diets, and can be helpful for the morbidly obese. I have the occasional shake for breakfast or on the run, depending on the brand it's nice for a change, and you don't really have to think about it. Each to their own. There is lots of people on here who have had similar success…

Have eggs for breakfast and you wont need your snacks before lunch.

Waste of money. I stopped it after they were charging $6 or $7 for breakfast, which was one egg and an english muffin. If you do it for a week or two, you can get a good idea of how to eat.

I like carbs too much.

Fantastic effort. Your age and dedication could helped with the weight loss. I lost about this amount of weight in this time frame when I was about 20, it dropped off. Hoping I can do it now, 15 years later!

Yes, good post and following...

I have a binge problem. Same situation, I find anything that my mind can use as a trigger to start a binge . I hate myself for it.

Good job!

I think thats the first step. Logging your food so you know how to change. Good luck on your journey.

This was me. This is me. Brushing teeth Chewing sugar free gum Meditate Find a hobby Go for a walk Don't have junk food in the house These help me, especially the minty options. Try drinking orange juice after you brush your teeth *yuck* Good luck, its an ongoing challenge.

Start really watching your foods now, paying attention to the portion size, what types of cooking methods are healthier than others, how much of something you can eat to stay under your calorie goal etc.
-
Good job. What type of eating are you doing to lose? Calorie counting, low carb, keto? Please add me :)

Just finished Bloodline S2 in about a day and half, and now Ray Donovan

That is a true holiday, no internet. Enjoy the time with yourself, your family and nature! :)

Mate - 60lbs and you come out looking like a dead-ringer for Sean Connery - I need to get on this type of regime
-
Nice work mate. I have realised that its not "one size fits all" with dieting, and this just goes to show. Congrats, you have your life ahead of you now!
-
Nice work mate, I look forward to that feeling when I get there :)
-
Vicki well done. I have heard the older you get the harder it is to lose so you aced it! I wouldnt worry too much about loose skin, its the health changes inside that you have made that count. The extra years you can spend with your loved ones.
-
Well done Sir. I think you are like me. Was it the portions that was letting you down? I binge eat and eat way too much food, that's my problem. Fantastic effort! :)
-
Great story. You made it! Thanks so much for sharing
-
Feel free to add me, I have only started after a long hiatus. 45lbs to lose - Day 3 today. I also have major issues with binge eating.
-
50lbs down in 5.5 months is great! Keep it up! :)

"On March 25, at 275 pounds, I joined MFP and as they say, the rest is history. When you're diligent and (a) faithfully/accurately log your food intake and (b) remain below your calorie goal, you WILL lose weight!" What a legend! Super work. Can I ask, when you started logging on MFP, what was the issue that you found out…
