Oh Gawd - this is me all over! I love it, and had great success years and years ago, however I simply can't stick to it, its so restrictive when all you want is a sandwich! :)

Great work, you must be proud. What Way Of Eating are you following? Simple calorie counting and exercising or a more specialised WOE like low carb or keto?

Ditch the body scales for a food scale! :) #scaleswap

That date is incorrect, was it 11th January you commenced? Such a great loss 30lbs... I wish I had started then haha Keep it up

Is this just like a "Stock" cube? I am in Australia and I haven't heard it called bouillon over here before. :)
-
Yes you are completely right, I did miss that part of the question. My bad :)

Keto is not powders and tablets.

30lbs in 6 months, absolutely. 30lbs in 3 months, harder but definitely doable. Good luck on your journey.

Anyone still active here? I have just started, W1D2 today :) I have issues with one of my ankles and arthritis but I am determined to power through. I also cycle, having a number of 100km rides under my belt, but I am still overweight. I really want to run, I used to run a fair bit when I was younger, 40km's per week. I…

Shakes work for a lot of people. Those who struggle with bingeing and the like might find the strictness of it good. Bottom line is to, at the same time, learn about why you are overweight in the first place - making bad choices and going over the top with portions. I am speaking from experience. I am trying to take one…

I need this. I struggle with diets, ie I have tried them all, low carb, shakes etc. I binge alot and struggle to my mind. Portions are the key for me.

Thanks for sharing, you look amazing :)

With only 13 grams of protein, I hardly think this is even a protein supplement, let alone a meal replacement! It seems like a money-grabbing exercise for the company that makes it.

You should probably weigh yourself first before posting like this so people can help you with all the information. You may have lost 10lbs in 10 days, which is way too much, and could be the real reason for the body aches and pains. good luck though, there is a lot of knowledgable people on this forum who have been…

HAHA, me too, thats why I clicked on it. I would have sneakily mentioned this post to the the other half LOL

Maaaate - 130lbs you lost and you are worried about one night binge? Log it, forget it, move on. You are already a legend!!

That's hardly aggressive and dangerous, that is only a pinch over 1KG a week. That's a good goal to aim for.

Sugar is the devil!

Straving I believe is the use of "Strava" to track exercise (either running or cycling)

This all over...! Easy to control cals in a shorter window.

This! Also, splitting it up into smaller increments could be beneficial to sticking with it, dependent of course on your typical day. Whatever suits and whatever helps you stick with it :)

This is exactly my situation, no known medical issues, just fat lol I find it hard also and too restrictive to stick with the 20g keto limit, so I might try to increase to between 40g and 50g, and see how that goes. I just love how LCHF keeps you feeling and satisfied.

All good advice above. I wish my binges were only 800cal - mine are more like 2000-3000. Disgusting :(

@spitapot81 - Don't forget your keys on the floor!!!

This is your car version of doing a street race LOL

The good thing about dark chocolate is if you do overeat it, it makes you feel sick. For me anyway. If I have milk chocolate, I could easily eat a block, a family size block in one sitting. 85%+ limits that feeling to overeat it. :)

How has this been going for you @JeromeBarry1 ? What sort of losses per week are you getting? Thanks :)
