  • You guys are tall next to me  I cannot wait until my Wii fit tells me I'm just overweight rather than obese
  • I do this as well. I can usually visualize and taste it. If I do happen to cave and eat what I was craving it is never as good as I thought it would taste.
  • Your abdominal pain may have something to do with the way your food was prepared at the restaurant rather than the higher carbs. I suppose you'll just have to pay attention in the future if you eat higher carbs at home to see if you react the same way.
  • The more you cater to your sweet tooth the more you will crave sweets, fruits and sugar alternatives included. It's fantastic that you've found alternatives and they sound really tasty. It will take time to find out what is best for you -you just have to find the time to "tune in to yourself", listen to your body and try…
  • Alberta, Canada
  • This is what I try to do as well. I pack my food for work the night before, log it and adjust it to suit my macros
  • Yes, I've lost a shoe size as well
  • Are you taking any supplements that may encourage detoxification? Are you drinking lemon water? This causes you to go more often.
  • I sometimes eat the 90% with some almonds and unsweetened coconut flakes. I feel a teeny bit of guilt when I do though because I wonder of making fat bombs with cocoa power and the other 2 ingredients as well as coconut oil would be better for me.
  • Maybe you can make an attempt and meditation or mindfulness to help with your stress? It can be difficult to "learn" but it's worth the time. Of course the end result will be a better sleep.
  • Add a bit of salt to your water to encourage hydration.
  • Yes, some may come with "seasoning"...whatever that might be. There's usually a sugars in rubs and marinades.
  • I've been seeing comments about people adding a pinch of salt to their coffee to combat the bitterness

  • Does anybody here find that sometimes it kick starts your hunger rather than helps it? I normally use 1-2 Tbsp Coconut Oil and 2-3 Tbsp HWC.

  • I'm a firm believer in "unprocessed" clean eating where I can. Which is a bit of a joke if you think about it because there are so many toxins in all of our foods. You'll see below that there are a few items that make me a hypocrite though  Anyways.. With the exception of Stevia used about twice a week, I avoid all…
  • BLT Lettuce Wraps with tons of mayo
  • Well that gives me a bit of hope. Mine is rank
  • It is some fantastic stuff for sure! I love her recipes...Have you tried her Kuala Pork?
  • In the past I found that the reasons why I did those things was that I was sabotaging my own success because of some emotional issues and also because I found that I would feel anxious about the attention that I would receive when I refused the food that was offered so I'd just eat it rather than possible answering…
  • I recently started making BP London Fog's. Very nice change. 2 Earl Grey Tea Bags 1TBSP Coconut Oil 2 TBSP HWC 0.5 tsp pure vanilla extract Stevia
  • You're right about that. My breath is absolutely horrible today! :p
  • I'm usually between 15-30 total. Sometimes up to 50 depending on how I load up my salads. I feel no guilt when they come from veggies
  • Please also consider that when you are menstruating or close to it, you can hold some weight. Mine typically clears a couple of days after it's done.
  • I've actually never looked for additives in my whipping cream as I do with everything else I put into my body. I just go to the milk section and look for whipping cream in a mini milk container. It's typically 35% fat and I had just assumed that it was just cream. I'm in Canada and normally use Dairyland or Lactancia Brand.
  • I use dairy in the form of cheese (I put that *kitten* on everything) and cream for my coffee ranging from 10%-35%. Sometimes I eat plain yogurt with stevia...I did so today and a 3/4 cup serving was 12 carbs. :'( I think I'll be avoiding that from now on. I prefer my carbs in the form of salad veggies.
  • I wouldn't recommend it for the first several weeks, it can very quickly make you fall off the wagon if you are a food addict like myself. It may be a good idea to ask yourself why you are asking this question. Is it because you are seeking permission? If you do cheat will you take responsibility and move on or will you…
  • My opinion is that it's better to stay on track and be fully accountable for what you eat by counting the full carbs.
  • Eat veggies. Stick to the green/white ones and you'll do fine. I've been eating salad loaded with veggies, cheese, oil and pumpkin seeds for every meal and have not had issues with going over carbs
  • Here's mine, they are alright but I don't love them. I've been looking for advice on them as well: 1 Cup Coconut Oil 0.5 Cup Cocoa Powder 2 tsp Pure Vanilla Extract 0.25 Cup unsweetened coconut Flakes 0.5 Cup Raw Pumpkin Seeds Stevia to taste (I use a 1 gram packet) melt all in pot and pour into molds or tray. Makes 12…
  • I do one about every 7-12 days. It stalls weight loss a bit but keeps me sane. I have been actively healing my food addiction for the last 1.5 years. The higher carb days boost my confidence and keep me going. When I speak about boosting my confidence, what I mean is that is makes me feel as though I have accomplished…
