  • It's not that I don't know how. It's the fact it freaks me out. I almost drowned as a kid and NEVER gained the ability to swim without my nose plugged again. I HATE it lol
  • 162lbs down to 125lbs
  • My lowest weight was 123lb and theres a big difference in my belly, that's where all gains go unfortunately. 118 is my goal to account for fluctuations and to be lower on the BMI scale for health reasons. Based on your answer, 1200 seems like where I should stay?
  • I dont even know how to search for that properly. I get a bazillion results 😳
  • Does anyone have a link explaining everything and all the options in more detail??
  • It tasted pretty good! It's a little thick from the frozen fruit but waiting til it melted a little solved that problem but all I taste is fruit. Cant taste the spinach or yogurt at all! Calories are about 275 and I dont track my macros cuz I'd go insane lol
  • Since I'm so picky I've decided a handful of spinach, 2 tbsp of honey vanilla Greek yogurt, a couple pieces of frozen strawberries, pineapple, and half a banana and a half cup of 2% milk. Trying it tomorrow and I hope it tastes good!
  • Sorry for the confusion everyone, yes this is what I meant. I am 5'2 and 130lbs, but yes I have been maintaining, didn't even think about the fact I'm eating at maintenance lol thank you all
  • It Is! The success and fun I've found with it actually inspired me to become a Zumba instructor and I have! Highly recommend you try it!
  • I may be biased but I would say try Zumba. I'm a Zumba instructor and before I became one, I lost thirty plus pounds eating right and doing Zumba 4 times a week. It's so much fun and easy to modify. People of all sizes and ages can do it and the class is a great workout!
  • I'm 5'2" and currently 132 pounds but I started at 162. My calorie goal a day is 1250 and I don't tend to eat back exercise calories since I literally forget. I do zumba a couple times a week and weight loss has inspired me to become an instructor so it'll probably be more very soon!
  • Zumba. I. Love. It. So fun and plenty of free videos on YouTube for it. I lost about 8 pounds doing that with better eating.
  • I'm part of the shorty category at 5'2", my starting weight was 162 and I'm currently 136 pounds. My goal weight is 130 and then I'll start toning up! Feel free to add me, I sent you a request
  • Cereal, milk, and meats. Cereal and milk is my breakfast every morning, I frigging love it and it's so filling for me. Meat is on the table every night, so pretty necessary and filling too!
  • I love potatoes, considering I don't like eating a butt ton of just veggies for calories, some potatoes or avocado is perfect to fill me and the remaining calories up. In fact, tonight I had baby red potatoes with shredded cheese with trader Joe's carne asada for dinner, so filling and just under 500 calories
  • Lots of water and bran cereal really helps. Foods with good fats can help too, like salmon, nuts, avocados etc. But I suffer from constipation a lot and my doctor told me it's ok to take senna which is a natural vegetable laxative in pill form, whenever I need it. It doesn't cause stomach pain and gives you relief in a…
  • I read that fitbit won't add calories because you haven't been active enough that day (which is weird since I'm more active now than before and nothing gets added). So you still eat the exercise calories back? Just curious in how this thing works
  • Cottage cheese, ugh I've tried to like it but it's like slimy little cheese poops *gag* :s
  • I'm very new to the fitbit alta but I like it. It helps remind me to move more and seeing my steps, active minutes, distance traveled, and calories burned throughout the day it such a good motivator. But I have it synced with MFP but never get any exercise calories added which is weird but I like the device itself, not too…
  • Never increased my goal. My step goal is 6400 and my calorie burn goal is 1800 a day (I set that myself since the bmr fitbit gave me was 1344)
  • So if I don't log the exercise at all then, my fitbit does not add any calories to MFP at all even on my active zumba days. Would that mean I shouldn't eat any exercise calories back then, since fitbit doesn't add to my MFP calories?
  • The weird thing is is when I add 60 minutes of zumba on MFP it adds it double on my fitbit. So I'll have 60 minutes of activity from zumba on my fitbit but if I add it to MFP too so I can eat 50% back it shows up as 120 minutes in my fitbit which is wrong. I have no clue how to get around that..
  • Okay, I'll try syncing them and see how that works for me ☺
  • No I did not sync them together, I heard it can be too confusing that way
  • I used a tdee calculator on the Web, you can find good suggestions through MFP
  • I was up about 2 pounds right before and at the beginning of my time at around 142.6 and today I weigh 139.6, when lately I've been at 141.8, so I think it's water retention lost and actual weight loss? Either way I logged it in my weight loss app since it's the lowest I've seen in awhile!
  • I'm pretty small height wise at 5'2" and I upped my calories from 1225 to 1300 just because I've seen a bit of a stall in weight-loss, but it's not hard reaching my calorie goal and I feel satisfied all day :)
  • :D I can't believe I didn't think of that, thank you!
  • I've actually tried herbalife and was successful for the first 12 pounds. Then I started getting so sick of the shakes to the point of gagging. I yo-yoed the same 4 pounds on herbalife with no progress and feeling like I'd never lose weight or be able to eat regular again. Also, the pills they have you take with it made me…
