Hello. I finished week 1 today! So I'm new. I've started this program a few times over the years but I've never finished it. This time I've already signed up for a 5k in August and a 10k in November, so I'll have to keep going! Enjoying it so far this time :)

What I've done is arranged a "cake date" with a friend on Tuesday, so now I feel satisfied that I can eat cake "soon" but I think making it into an "event" rather than just eating cake will help. Since cake feels so "unsafe" to me, I can eat it with the support of my friend. This sounds really stupid but it's real!! Thanks…

It is strange because I have managed to unpick this kind of thinking that I used to have with biscuits, chocolate etc, so now I have just eat 2 biscuits with my tea and not think about biscuits for the rest of the day, same with chocolate, but I'm really curious about why I'm still hung up on cake.

Hi, I'm looking for more friends too :) I'm a 28 year old single mum to a 5 year old boy and full time student (physiology). My goal is to lose about 5 stone (70lbs), get good at yoga and start running.

Yorkshire here. Feel free to add me too :)

Me too, I'll add you :) I am starting my venture into exercise with more walking and a 30 day yoga camp, to see where it leads me. Feel free to add me people on this thread!

This is great. I've been working on emotional eating for a while, but #4 is something I'm only just realising (slowly) :)

Thank you! I calculated my stride length by walking 10 steps and measuring it with a tape measure but not sure how accurate this is really. Running might be harder to get a stride length for using this method!

I am the same too. I'm thinking about trying yoga to keep stress levels down in the first place. Learning to deal without the usual food crutch is hard work
