I remain eternally at the start of the process. I’ve never lost an appreciable amount of weight and likely never will. I suppose I’ve been too preoccupied with the idea that I must try and reduce my carbohydrate and sugar intake, as they have traditionally been the mainstay of my diet, with a serious deficit of protein. Thanks everyone. Yep, I intend to keep going, I think I was just worrying myself needlessly. It's hard sometimes and can get somewhat repetitive and boring. But I make allowances in my weekly meal plan for the things I love but shouldn't necessarily have too often and that keeps me focused.

Thanks. I didn't find it that hard to lose the weight, it's the keeping it off that I struggle with. Bad habits come back so easily. But it did feel good to lose so much. I have a lot more to lose so I have to get back into it.

Thank you and yep, I'm already weighing absolutely everything I eat, so my logging is as accurate as possible. I've not been a big protein eater in the past but I'm making good progress widening my food vocabulary. Protein shakes have been a big help as I'm mindful of not losing muscle mass.
