My goal was 130 - I managed to get to 134 and looked awfully tiny - I was in a size 4. My body is happier between 140-150 so current goal is to get back to 140. COVID and depression made me gain a lot of my weight loss back. :disappointed:

I'll join :smile: Starting weight: 144 Current weight: 144 Goal WEight: 130 14 pounds...I think I can do it! I keep fluctuating between 140-146. I don't know why! :cry: I've been dieting and exercising quite a bit, so here's hoping!

My day is also super slow. I had a breakdown last night and I'm still recovering from it so the slow day is a blessing.

I'm really only hoping for .5-1 lb a week. I don't feel like I'm even getting that though. I suppose I could really hunker down and pull out the food scale again, but I prefer to just eat small portions. I used that scale for 8 months, I feel like I can weigh by sight now lol. (joking)

I'm just doing CICO. I try to stay under 1300 calories a day. And under 100 carbs. Other than that, I let myself eat what I want.

I did read it, and there are people who actually do this. However, they end up eating things that they don't realize help sustain them.

Thank you everyone for your insight and advice! I truly appreciate it! I feel that I have a lot of muscle from the amount of hiking I do, but the skinny fat is still there. So, I think I'm going to seek a nutritionist/dietician and go from there.

I live in Phoenix and I won't hike above 98 F. I don't run, but I imagine I wouldn't run beyond that temp either. I'm originally from the Midwest though and I've only lived out here ~3 years so my acclimation to the heat could be different than yours.

Additionally - I don't want to be "thin" I want to be fit. I'm wondering if getting to 130 will make me unhappily thin.

I'm stomach bothers the ever loving life out of me. Everything else on me is small but I'm paranoid that my stomach is still chubby. My new goal for this year is to tone up and hopefully that helps. I can't understand how I'm a size 6 and still feel fat. :(

60 pounds lost so far - I had some loose skin but it's been tightening up by itself the last few months. I'm 25 so I don't know if that makes a difference.

2300 calories is a LOT of food/calories. You really don't need to "diet". Just choose healthy foods. And if you're using a lot of oils, I have no idea how you're not getting closer to the 2300 calorie mark. Oil is SUPER calorie dense. Are you sure you're tracking your calories accurately? I pretty much eat what I want now…

I use Orgain. It's vegan (I have problem with whey powders) and it tastes good! I've used both chocolate and vanilla bean and I like both. Deep Blue is definitely my favorite album as well. They were *AMAZING* Live. And I was in a tiny little venue with a max of 1000 capacity of people. Unfortunately I was basically passing out from a migraine by the time they got to stage but I fought my best against it whenever I heard one of my favorite songs lol

I got one in memorial of my mom who recently passed away instead of the one I was going to get for my weightloss goal, but when I save up money again I do plan on getting a few others to self-congratulate myself a little. I want one down my side, a sternum piece, and one on my ribs.

I think it's completely reasonable to have a weight goal lower than when you were a teen. when I was a teenager (middle school AND highschool) I was in the 160s-170s and in a size 11/13. When I got to my mid twenties I ballooned to 180s-190s. however, I lost about 60 pounds this year and I'm down to around 140. I'm thinner…

I start jogging at about 5mph on the treadmill. 4.2 is more of a fast walk for me. I think it's all relative to the person though!

I'd say it would be more classified as a fetish if that were the focus of why the person liked you. If everything was focused on your weight and how big this was and how big that was and not necessarily a focus on you as a person. That's a fetish. It's almost an obsession.

Everyone just tells me I look too skinny now. I got told by someone I've had a crush on for years that I'm too skinny (he likes big girls I just found out ugh). I'm not anywhere close to being "too skinny" for my height...but everyone's reactions make me wonder
