I'm using Wed figures. Let me see if I've got this right. I can understand that both apps count the figures differently; a bit like Celsius and Fahrenheit? Up to now I've been running with MFP, my intention would be to stick with them. So MFP is showing my exercise as 1015. Divide that by 2 and you'll get 507.5. I'm using…

Thanks for the reply, I take what you say about going to low on the calories. What I'm trying to figure out at the moment is that given 1450 calories the nutrient graph shows that my meals should be made up of 50% Carbs, 30% Fat and 20% Protein but surely on a low carb diet that's not right. I'm trying to figure out the…

Now I know that is just a temporary situation which may last for a week, or may last for a month, but eventually will start again I'm…

Bought the tape several years ago and it helped me loose about ten pounds in a relatively short time. Then of course I gave it up. I've been doing the LCHF diet now for several months and I've lost over a stone but I know I'm beginning to slip, I'll try and resurrect McKenna's tape and maybe that will put me back on track…

OK so let me see if I understand. My goals are set at 1400 Calories, X Carbs, Y Fat and Z Protein. I go for a brisk 45 minute BEFORE breaking my fast so MFP calculates I've burned 250 calories does that mean that to stay within my goal I can eat 1400+250 = 1650 calories and still be within my limits OR if I'm doing this,…

Why not carbonated water. The supermarket brands are inexpensive, I buy Lidl, and add a dash of Lemmon or lime or both. A lovely refreshing drink straight from the fridge

Thanks to all who have replied. A follow up if I might Given that I set my Goals at say 1500 calories and set my Carb Goal at 10 percent that would be c 38 grams carb Now let's assume I spend two hours in the garden cutting grass and general maintenance and another hour on a pleasant walk. According to MFP that would burn…
