I am 5'8"... I am on 1510 a day and eat back If not all then most of my exercise cals. I've lost 19.8lbs since May 26th.

Right on thanks!!

Ahh *kitten* thanks! I didn't even think about ruining my phone, I was more or less worried about it calculating steps correctly for that kind of work out. I don't have a Fitbit yet but SOON!

Hi. I am 5'9" and I started on 5/26/16. I have lost 17.6 pounds since. My SW was 205 and CW is 187. Goal is 155-160ish-ish-ish. I have been on 1530 cals a day (actually once I hit the 17lbs lost it dropped to 1510) but have been steadily losing since I began 7 weeks ago. I usually eat back if not all, most of my exercise…

How long until you noticed your butt was changing? I gotta get on some squats!!
-
Girl your booty looks amazing!!

I'm having my first TOM since I started this 3 weeks ago. I have gone up .5-2lbs, varying and I just keep telling myself it's bc it's that time ugh. Hey do you ladies still log your weight on your weighing day if it's gone up (say due to period) or do you only log your weight if it's gone down? I assume you log it no…
-
True dat!! Just curious why my calories increased. But yeah you're right.

So, I usually just hit the + bottom on my home page and update my weight, however, when I went to my goals (and then current weight) I noticed it UP'd my calories by 30. I'm currently on 1530 a day, but it went up to 1560. I manually changed it back to 1530, but I'm wondering if anyone can tell me why it didn't just stay…
-
Thanks!
-
How long were you doing this before you changed it? I am only 3 weeks in so I think I probably don't need to worry with it right now but that makes sense.
-
Interesting @MissusMoon. Maybe I will do that too. I agree on easing into it. Not sure I need to just yet but I may. Thanks!
-
Ok that makes sense. I'm completely new to this and I lurk these boards frequently. I have seen more times than not about adjusting goals, but not really sure when to, ect. thanks for clarifying that for me!
-
Thank you. I have it set to 1lb per week- I think I've initially dropped those 10lbs just from eating much healthier and jogging daily- so I think I will do what you said and not change it until I've got 15 more to go. Thank you!
-
Great info, Thank you. Makes perfect sense...And I must say, I'm pretty darn happy that the scale has gone down, water weight or not. Zing!
-
I thought so, thank you!

I'm bumping this because I have the same question. I've been having my phone log my jogs/walks. But I didn't realize there was a section to log your walks/jogs/runs by manually putting it in. I don't think I'm supposed to do that since my phones doing it, correct? Someone, anyone... Lol even though this post is a year old.

Thank you. Am I supposed to "enable negative calorie adjustments"? I saw that it's disabled. Or is that only to be enabled if you have another tracking device?
-
No, actually i Don't have anything besides my iPhone tracking my steps/exercise that I wear on me throughout the day
-
Perfect explanation, thank you!
-
Thanks! If I were over my net calories for the week though, would it be a negative number? As long as it says the word "under" we're ok, is that close to accurate? Lol.
-
Yes I agree on the number only making sense when you've completed a week also. Thank you. So if the number is at 298 at the end of the week (just making a number here) then I was UNDER my goal, meaning rather than hitting it perfectly I went under so I'm still doing well, might lose more than I've rated myself to lose,…

Thanks everyone, appreciate the help!
-
Yes, thank you I appreciate the explanation!

I think that confused me. (Sorry)--so that number (total calories under weekly goal) needs to be where, roughly? I went to Tuesday of last week and looked and that number was in the thousands, like 2,200- but at the end of this week, it was only 3 digits. I'm so lost. Sorry. I think I've confused everyone around me…

Great read, thanks!

Ooook, hello! I'm completely new to this. Have been doing it for a week. I came across this post and saw the pic above. I am a work in progress clearly. Based on the comments above, does this graph look correct? I mean, am I doing something right? PS sorry to do this on your post, OP!
