It reaaally depends on how sensitive you are lol-- My husband has to hide my scale until my two week weigh in because we know if I see even a .1 gain (which is always from water weight but my emotions don't factor it) I will be devestated! I super envy those who can microtrack their weight, good for them!

I have had several major orthopedic surgeries by renown doctors and I have told them about my keto diet-- they never had a problem with it (one told me to just not jack up on MCT oil the night before surgery) and I have been able to recover faster from surgery-- since staying ketosis is a great way of reducing…

I'm looking at reaaallly expensive tea lately (tea reaaally helps with low carbing) but geeze it's so expensive. Tea drinking is the worst hobby ever, it's expensive, comes in tiny portions and makes you come back for more. It's like smoking, but, yea know, with less cancer and stuff

I love my veggies and legumes!!! Especially cabbage and lentils. Especially them together. Piled with peppercorn and sriracha sauce.. oh and all the tofu.
-
I am very strict on keto, but every few weeks I have a "lazy" keto day where I just don't meticulously measure everything. So I'll go from measuring 3.5 ounces of tofu per meal eating the whole darn tofu block in one setting-- but I won't eat anything that's not allowed on keto either. So like... extra half and half, extra…

Whenever I need an extra boost of calories and I can't eat a meal I swig some olive oil with potassium rich salt. Nice and caloric.
-
I measure tablespoons of all natural peanut butter and it's really, really filling for me now
-
I can't eat eggs anymore either but I scramble tofu with oil and put salt and pepper on it--- it tricks your brain into thinking its an egg, lol

how the hades do you gain weight from what is virtually nothing though. that doesn't make sense

This thread made me feel better about drinking about... two cans? Sometimes one, sometimes three cans of diet soda. Coke zero in any flavor is my greatest weakness.

We met on a crummy little anxiety disorder support chat room. He drove 600 miles to see me and now we're married and been together the better part of a decade. The lesson is meet crazy people on a chatroom and get married! (just kidding I got lucky lol)

This x 1000 Don't you love it when people suddenly think they're medical professionals when it comes to low carb?
-
Don't even bother posting about your low-carb diet here! People are very against it and think it's deadly even though tons of people do it without health issues (it helped me with my health issues actually. No inflammation on my badly damaged hip anymore) There is a Low Carb group on here.. or better yet go to a Low Carb…

I drink black coffee like all day and I still have lost 15 pounds so it works for me!
-
I do about 15-20 net carbs a day. Which is around the Atkins induction-- I think that's ok? I'm not entirely sure right now. I am going to increase my sodium for now since it looks like I average 1500mg a day
-
This makes a lot of sense-- I have to increase my sodium. How many calories a day did you stick to? I average around 1600-1700
-
cabbage cabbage I put it on everything

I want this doll SO BADLY..
-
Well I'm feeling great now. I decided to stay. I've lost 10 pounds now and have gone down two sizes. Atkins is working for me! I'm over the Atkins flu and I can get around more easily. My mother in law who is a nurse said it's probably helped reduce inflammation alongside with my medications. I've been off my harsh pain…

Geez I'm really sorry everyone.. I really didn't mean to come off as rude or anything I'm sorry for wasting your time I'll stick to my doctor, family and just the app..
-
I'm sorry but someone said I could be prolonging my healing process and that Atkins could be probably hurting me and that my weight was also considered normal. It was just a little off putting since I have done my research and talked to my doctor- I don't want people to think this is a vanity thing. Saying I'm already…

Thanks for the medical advice but yes I have talked to my doctor and he's fine with it. I am actually eating more vegetables and protein than ever before which has helped me in my healing process. I am also taking vitamins. I eat around 1600 calories a day which is what is recommended. Not to sound rude but I don't care if…
