I agree. I'm feeling so much better eating the extra calories and I'm not worrying about the scale.

I joined the Facebook group yesterday.

Thank you. I will do the full 8-12 week metabolic reset.

Hi All, I've been actively on MFP for almost a year. I have managed to loose 100lbs over the last 3 years. I am currently weigh 244 and would like to get down to 160. It's nice to find a forum here that is talking about eating more to lose weight. Most of my current MFP friends are trying to stick to the 1200 calorie…

Every day since having my thyroidectomy is a struggle. I have managed to slowly lose 100lbs over the last 3 years. I have hit a plateau recently for several reasons. Feel free to add me as a friend.

I have the same classic symptoms since having a thyroidectomy plus iron deficiency. I have managed to lose 100lbs over the last 3 years but each pound was/is a struggle. As someone else mentioned have you had your numbers checked lately and taking the medicine in the correct manor. For me, it now means I take my thyroid…

It could be that you are thirsty and not actually hungry. Try drinking more water throughout the day. When I get like this I drink a glass of water and wait 30 minutes and if I'm still hungry at this point I'll have a snack that includes some type of protein.

2 scrambled eggs, oatmeal w/banana

I do the exact same thing...I watch my portions but still have pizza. I avoid "fast food" because it doesn't agree with me. Going out for dinner tonight and will box half of it because the portion will be to large (I don't need to eat all of that).

I prep lunch and dinners for the week on Sundays. Depending on what I'm eating when I'll freeze certain things and defrost as needed. Lots of individual containers but I'm not worrying what I'm going to eat and it is already portioned.

I went down 2 band sizes from 44/46 depending on the bra to a 40. For me the cup size really depends on the bra style.

Meal plan and food prep work best for me.

I don't treat the weekend any different than during the week. If I know there is an event that evolves around food on a weekend, I get an extra workout in. Meal planning also tends to help.
-
I tend to guess and go with the higher calorie count.
-
For me, getting the nutrition down was the priority first and then the exercise. I exercise because I feel better afterwards than more of a way to lose weight or to create a higher calorie deficit.
-
I avoid eating certain foods late at night just because I don't feel good afterwards but I usually have a snack between 7:30-8pm.

MFP requires at least 1000 calories to complete your day

Leftovers from dinner. I usually make enough for a second helping the next day. When I'm really focused, I prep several meals that can be used as lunch or dinner through the week. Grilled chicken, lean cuts of beef, and quinoa are staples in my meals. Also sweet potatoes last several days so I make those ahead of time.

Sweet potatoes and apples. Dice sweet potatoes and cook and add diced apples when the sweet potatoes are cooked about 3/4 of the way done and sprinkle with cinnamon and honey.

Are you taking your measurements? Sometimes I don't see the weight loss but have lost inches instead. I have a love/hate relationship with the scale and only step on once a week.
-
I'll agree that you should be in a calorie deficit but for me personally I think in the long run there is a difference between 100 calories of Doritos and 100 calories of carrots. I don't eat organic but I also don't eat prepackaged (microwave meals) either.

Last week was last week and this week is this week. Everything in moderation. You can still eat the foods you enjoy but not everyday and all day. I meal plan on Friday night for the upcoming week so I can grocery shop on Saturday and then meal prep. That way most of the week is done and either in the frig/freezer when I…

I make scrambled eggs in the morning. Or do mini omelets in the a muffin tin go you have a grab an go to reheat. I also eat greek yogurt with fresh fruit and tsp of honey. Leftovers from the night before. I'm not a picky eater or will only eat something at the "right" time of day.

What do you eat? Or what is something that you absolutely won't eat?
-
Try the sandwiches wrapped in lettuce. Half a bagel with peanut butter and banana or Apple.
-
I do the same thing. Watch my portions and don't eat it as often.

I do the original version of 21 day fix
