For me it started with a bike. Small rides. Then longer ones. All on a constant basis. Eventually, the success of extending the distance became a motivator. The success bred success. It took maybe three months before I felt better after exercise than before. Stick with your program. You WILL thank yourself.

I used to double track. Then I got a fitbit. No way was it going to be triple track. Now it's just MFP and syncing to fitbit. I love the RA though. The weekly sessions keep me accountable. I also find that the "strawberry milk" recipe keeps me filled and away from trail mix etc. during the day.

Once I started loosing weight, bicycling to loose more, then running to loose more, then weights... I still watch some tv, but…

The biggest downside is making it part of your routine. It's easy to put off if you are at home. Put it on the calendar. It is an appointment that you have to keep.…

Hi just found this thread. I'm 10 weeks into RA. I'm still hanging in there. using the scale daily and double listing on both RA & MFP (that's a hassle but I plan on staying w/MFP but want my coach to get my data too). I thought about going Fitbit to save on that, but sticking w/my Garmin for now. There's no magic bullet…
