I would also say don't plan on a complex menu for each week. Meaning buy bulk even it means you'll be eating a lot of the same for that week. I'm trying to stop the habit of mindless snacking :/, if I feel like I have to have something, I just try to make sure it's either a fruit or veggie. I try to not have snacks in the house to resist the temptation and the husband is not happy!
