Thank you so much, makes a lot of sense why yo-yo diets do not work for me long term. Agree, going to stick with it and see what happens in a month :)

You look great! Can I ask how many calories you eat for strength training and do you have splurge days.
-
In the past I have had success with just counting calories, but not sustainable.
-
Thank you so much for the helpful information! My trainer based it on 2-4 workouts a week. I guess I can give it a try , I figure nothing to lose eating clean and working out.

Thanks. I am 5’10.5 and weigh 225 pounds . I like working out and have been on a rollercoaster with weight loss. Sigh. So hopefully a trainer and mire commitment would help.

Great article on scale fluctuations. Thanks!

Yeah I also agree with how stay at home covid19 plays with how our bodies are adjusting to this change and mental states as well :/

Thank you so much for sharing and being an inspiration 👍😃

You look fantastic! During your two day rest day , do you excercise at all and what are your calories for the off days. Thanks and great job!

I rarely post because I always go up and down in weight and don’t stick with anything long 🙄. However, when I tell my kids I’m going to do something I stick with it. I started 10k training 14 weeks ago, could barely run 2 mins my first day, now I can run 6 miles or 60 mins straight! I’m not a fast runner, but I’ll take it…

109 is not bad. There is a dawn phenomenon with blood sugars and my BS are almost highest first thing im the am. My A1C is normal, what is yours? I usually eat protein before any meal if I am eating carbs. Of course healthy meats/fruits/veggies.

Thank you so much! I will give the running app a try. I will add you as a friend, thanks for all the inspiration you provide to all us newbies of running . You are a rockstar! 😃👍

You look wonderful! What a great success story. I admire your running abilities, especially barefoot! Im a similar build to you and I just started to train for a marathon, hope to be like you oneday :) When you first started running was it really difficult? How long did it take you to run miles without stopping? I just…

Thanks everyone! I agree, never cared about quick weight loss, just curious if anyone tried it. i could lose about 40-50 pounds. I am always a rollercoaster, loss and gain :/. Been on MFP for years, its about willpower and consistency I know. Not an excuse but lifes troubles always derails me , I find comfort in food 🙄.…

Thanks definitely trying magnesium, and less salt.

Thank you everyone! I wanted some reassurance and will definitely try the pink salt/Zinc idea . The scale fluctuates weekly and I understand salt /water retention is something I cant really avoid. Those cramps can be very painful throughout the nigjt , I end up jumping out of bed and almost have tears of pain :/ So,…

I can now row with my legs gliding into my stomach, instead of my legs going sideways because my stomach was too big

I have a way to go still, but this weekend I fit into my old size 8 Lauren jeans! No stretch jeans or elasticity at the waist , just normal jeans

One of the trainers at my gym noticed my weightloss! Yeah family and friends do too, but meant more when a trainer pointed it out

Love OT! Been a member for about 4 months , I did lose about about 20 pounds, then put some back on during a European vacation ☺️. But back at it, I have lost more fat/inches because my clothes fit better and people say i have lost weight..though not a lot . OT is a good workout if you take full advantage , and stay on a…

P.S, i wear the waist band .
-
The wristband is not as accurate as the waist band, but if you have a large upper body this may cause the waist band to go offline during the workout :) . The bands are all bluetooth technology, they are close but not accurate. It is nice having the OT bands , and that after the workout you get a progress report. I also…
