  • Yes x3 Second no-alcohol day this week which is good for me considering quarantine habits... Though it meant I filled that calorie gap with chips haha. But stayed under and did 25 min home workout. Today was arms/upper/core day.
  • Loving everyone's photos today! Today ended up being an unintentional pass day. Was 100 cal under at the end of dinner, so then broke out some chocolate chips and a glass of peach brandy. Oops... Now the question is if I can make it 9 days without another pass...
  • @TerriRichardson112 Happy Birthday! @epangili keep posting! I haven't made the winner's circle the last few months but still felt welcome posting here, and feel that the support helped nme stay more in check than I would otherwise Yes x3
  • @nodm so glad that you are okay. I can't even begin to imagine how scary that must have been. Very glad that you pulled through and are on the road to recovery. I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers! Yes x3
  • Today's going to be an intentional pass day (pass #2) as it's my husband's birthday. I'm still planning on my 45 minute calisthenics Saturday workout and probably won't be terribly over on calories (just medium over) but I won't be tracking today because I want to feel like I'm enjoying celebrating with my husband rather…
  • Yes x3 40 min walk plus my 25 min calisthenics workout. Under on calories. DC's mayor announced today that we would continue distance learning for the rest of the year. And that school would end three weeks early, May 29 instead of June 19. Not sure what this will mean for us teachers when it comes to contracts and summer…
  • Yes x3 Walked a bit more than hour around the neighborhood this afternoon. Think I've found a new favorite frozen pizza -- will try again whenever I eventually go back to the store (I'm at 1 month since my last visit but doing ok due to Blue Apron and protein bars)
  • Yes x3 NSVs: 1) It's halfway through the month and I only have one pass day! This hasn't been true since November! 2) I've logged for 100+ days in a row (I am supposed to be on a trip to Europe right now so would be taking the week off were I on vacation, so might as well take the silver lining that instead I got to hit…
  • Bit behind again in catching up on this thread. @BMcC9 and @SuziQ113 I love your interesting and inspiring posts each day! @juliemouse83 so sorry about the boss changing your position and hours. I know that must be tough emotionally and financially. At least the silver lining is that you won't be overworked now and they…
  • Yes x3 Got an outdoor walk in today which was nice after several days of rain (and several more are forecasted for the rest this week) Baked biscuits! Saving two for tomorrow to make my husband an egg and biscuit breakfast. Now I just need to decide: scrambled or fried....
  • Yes x3 In the past I've enjoyed group classes for exercise (salsa, parkour etc). These past six months I've been doing parkour 2-3 times a week and supplementing with some push-ups and squats. Due to the shutdowns I now have to do all bodyweight exercises at home which puts the pressure on me to keep up a balanced routine.…
  • Pass day #1. Was okay until I started snacking on the evening... But at least I'm still on track for the winner's circle at this pace!
  • Here's a photo!
  • Yes x3 Did a 45 min workout with the app. My neighbor dropped off some milk cartons that she couldn't use so I tried making rice pudding / arroz con leche a couple days ago. My husband, who is from Peru, loved it, as did I, so I made a double recipe today and will bring to my in-laws tomorrow for Easter. Fun that these…
  • I've been late on catching up on this thread, but I wanted to say that the garden photos are so inspiring! Loving the green and life in them.
  • Yes x3 Created a schedule for the new Adidas Training app I downloaded a few days ago. I'm planning to have Mon-Wed-Fri be 25 min workouts, Sat be 40, and Sun-Tues-Thurs be 10 min stretching. I'm really liking the app so far-- it's motivating but still pretty simple and easy to follow.
  • Yes x3 and did my no alcohol day @Chinkiri I definitely empathize. On one hand I feel lucky to have good health and a job still. However I still feel the loss of all I had planned: I was supposed to be on a plane to Prague today, my brother and his wife had to cancel their trip to see us in DC last weekend, my parents have…
  • @victorious55 Happy Birthday! @craigo3154 sending thoughts and prayers your way -- I hope your doctor is able to bring clarity and healing as they investigate Thank you everyone for your support yesterday. I really appreciate it. Today was yes x3 Went on a half hour walk and did 10 min of stretching
  • Thank you so much to everyone who offered condolences and for keeping my godmother in your thoughts and prayers. I so appreciate it. This is what makes this group so special and supportive.
  • Yes x3 Exercise was 20 min inside workout + 5 min stretching. Found out that my godmother died this morning. She was only in her early 60s and it was completely unexpected -- possibly heart attack but they haven't determined yet. Apparently called an ambulance but didn't make it. Please keep her family esp her husband and…
  • Yes x3 Did a 55 min walk today.
  • Yes x3 Even though it's been harder for me to do so due to stay-home life, I'm trying to not have wine at least one day a week. Today was that day.
  • Yes x3 Cleaned the house, including scrubbing the floor, then went on an hour walk with my husband and then did some decluttering. Hit 10k steps for the first time since work from home started! @BMcC9 my Fitbit does that too. If I go to sleep in the green and the next morning it shows up as a few calories in the red, I…
  • Yes x3 Indoor walking and body-weight exercises. Heard today from a member of my grade-level teaching tram that she was diagnosed positive for coronavirus. Thankfully it seems to be a mild case and she's been away from students since March 13 when we had our last day, but keep her in your thoughts and prayers that she…
  • Yes x3 Just walking for exercise so kept food light and under
  • Yes x3 Restricted lunch so I had enough calories for cooking Blue Apron shrimp and gnocchi. Delicious!
  • Back in it! After getting the winner's circle a couple months back in the fall when I was new to UAC, I haven't made it for a few months, though I've been close! But I feel sure I can do it in April-- even if it would mostly be because I can't go out to restaurants or happy hour! ;) :/
  • Even though I'm at 4 pass days and didn't make the circle, I'm proud that I didn't take a pass day today even though I could have! Also no alcohol which has been harder to have happen regularly with being shut in and working from home and off of a normal schedule. Looking forward to April UAC!
  • @BMcC9 try on the Fitbit app clicking on your profile photo then scrolling down and clicking on your device and then scroll down to Reminders to Move to set. I have mine going from 8am to 10pm to try to get the max :)
  • @nodm hope you have a swift recovery! Glad it's not been too bad of a case. Today was my fourth pass day so no winners circle. Not a terrible day, but a bit over on calories.
