  • You can feel free to add me. I turned 30 last month and was diagnosed with PCOS as a teen. A few years ago I lost about 30lbs and was really active, but thanks to depression and a 3rd baby it all came back with some extra. The past year all of my symptoms have gotten much much worse and I know that dropping some of the…
  • I did not have a good experience with Mirena and would never recommend it to anyone. I had random bleeding multiple times a month for the whole 3 years I had it. Also it caused me to have cysts that would rupture and the pain would bring me to my knees. I also had to have 2 placed in 3 years. The first my body rejected and…
  • Same, I had my 3rd baby a little over 5 months ago. She is so needy that I can't ever put her down so I'm not working out and live in a place where walking would be risking getting hit by many many large trucks. I have managed to lose some weight just by tracking my food so far.
  • For me it was easier to lose weight because I knew what would happen if I did consume mass amounts of sugar. If I had anything more than a can of soda the Metformin would cause me to be very sick, so I learned to avoid high sugar content. It is not an appetite suppressant though.
  • I too have a 4 month old baby. A couple years ago I was at the lowest weight I've ever been. Then the weight started coming back on and I got pregnant. Now all of my baby weight is gone but I find myself still not being able to wear any of my clothes and I'm about 50lbs more than I was at my lowest.
  • About 3 years ago I made major changes in my life and hit a weight I haven't seen since puberty. Then I let my ex back in my life and he told me I was too thin and he started bringing me sweets on a daily basis. After gaining 35lbs I found out I was pregnant with baby #3, and I gained another 40lbs. Now I have ditched the…
  • I'm a SAHM, I have 2 boys ages 3&6.
  • If you're afraid of turning orange from eating carrots I suggest going with the rainbow variety. I have not turned white, yellow, orange, or purple. And as a bonus the colors make my kids like them even more. Same with the colors of cauliflower. ;)
  • No advice, I just want to say you're my hero. I couldn't produce enough milk to nurse either of my babies (3yrs apart) more than once a day for about 3 months!
  • My wedding is at the end of this July and I currently can't zip my dress up all three way. Need to lose at least 15 pounds before my dress will be zipping. I really would love to lose more than that as I have gained about 45 pounds in the past year.
  • I would also recommend the C25K. I did a similar trip to Costa Rica a few years ago. The food is great and all fresh. As long as you like chicken, fish, rice, and fruit you will be set. My only bit of insight is that some of the hikes take you to higher elevations which has thinner air and makes it harder to breath. I had…
  • I was diagnosed over 10 years ago. I battled my weight since I was 14. When I was 24 I just started losing, come to find out I needed my gallbladder out. But it gave me the motivation to get moving. I tracked my calories and dug deep really getting into working out. After a year I lost 30 pounds. Then life happened and I…

  • I can't figure out why either of you would be on this....I had to google.ot and from all the medical articles that I read it is a very serious stimulant, which carries very serious risks. I also read that it should only be given to people who are seriously Obese and who have co-morbities, tht a describes neither of you! I…
  • I took exercise classes. That way I had to attened, actually do the work, and I got a grade and credits at the end of the semester.
  • Hi ladies, I'm 28 and have 40-50 pounds to lose. A year ago I was down 40 pounds but I got lazy and my depression hit an all time high. Now I really need to find my motivation again and move my bum, as I'm supposed to get married at the end of July. I currently cannot zip my dress up all the way :s Looking for anyone who…
  • I think you guys all just became my new inspiration and motivation! This is so exciting, cam I join and be in house Targaryen?
  • I have been battling with major depression for the past year. I have been diagnosed with major depressive disorder. I am so tired of people telling me that if I just go work out I will feel better. Most days I am so tired that I sleep for over 14hrs. Not because I want to, but because I honestly cannot keep my eyes open.…
