I think the thing that I am struggling with most is how many calories to add in. My twins still wake up at night to nurse. They still nurse throughout the day 3 to 4 times during the day. Sometimes more. It's hard because I am ALWAYS hungry. I try drinking a ton but I still want to eat eat eat. I had a nutritionist lactation / consultant tell me that my body will try to hang on to it until I wean. I always thought it would just melt off with nursing and that's just not the case. Right now I start out my day around 1500 and add in 300 to 400 extra calories. Sometimes still going over.

I have no advice but I didn't lose an ounce breastfeeding, only gained! I was ravenous too! You are a champion for nursing twin toddlers!

I am EBF my almost 1 year old twins and plan to continue. I set my goal for 2000 calories and am trying to limit carbs. Want to add each other? Twin mommas are awesome. :)

No advice, I just want to say you're my hero. I couldn't produce enough milk to nurse either of my babies (3yrs apart) more than once a day for about 3 months!

Me too. The minute I weaned, the weight just dropped off.
