Tonight I'm having organic turkey sausage (2 links), 2 scrambled eggs with roasted peppers/onions/cheese, crispy crown potatoes (Ore-Ida), biscuit with apple butter, and an orange.

Last night was homemade turkey chili with three kinds of beans, shredded cheese, onions, and a piece of cornbread. Small green salad with balsamic dressing.

P.S. ~~ I think we were doing so well that we began trying to do drastic things like fasting for 48 hours. I don't think that was a good idea at that time. I don't believe we were ready and it put a lot of pressure on us. I'm not trying to do anything but have my one meal a day, drink a lot of water, stretching very gently…

I was right there with you. Wouldn't we have had a different life if they would have taught us this simple thing. I don't believe the health professionals tell us about this now. Too bad!!

I'm back....I took a trip to see an old friend. Still eating within my feeding period. Splurge day was Saturday. I will weight next week. Happy trails!

I was vegetarian for 9 years and then got enemia. My doctor suggested that I begin eating chicken, turkey, and fish. After thinking about it, I don't think I was eating enough vegetables but eating processed foods instead. I think I would be fine eating this way. Great documentary...a real eye opener.

You're doing great!! When I get brain fog it's because I'm not drinking enough. Make sure you drink a lot of water, iced tea, coffee, or any other calorie free beverage. Hi Bob I watched a documentary on Netflix called 'Forks over Knives'. It explains about a plant based diet and I was intrigued because I'm not a great meat eater. I'm slowly going to change my diet to this way of eating. It sounds like you are eating a plant based diet as well. Am I correct?

I ordered two Essentrics dvds. It's mostly stretching (beginners) and Joe said it is okay to use and it won't stress the body. Maybe this is something you could begin with. You can 'Google' Essentrics and there are some short videos you can follow on youtube if you're interested.

Sometimes having no ambition is due to medication and not feeling well. It's difficult to take medication without eating because it can make you feel sick. You have been doing great. Keep it up. Thank you everyone. I appreciate you all. Maintenance is great because like Joe says, add an extra splurge day until you maintain without gaining. This is a wonderful program. I have a ways to go to get to maintenance but by the time I get there I'll know what to do. ♥

Just checking in to say I'm still the same weight. I gained a couple pounds and lost a couple pounds over the holidays. I know I'll lose something this month. Wow....you are doing great. I think it's the sugar. I've been studying up on what sugar does to the body and watched a video of an attorney from Australia who stopped eating sugar only and lost 90 pounds in one year. Congrats!!
