@amygreenwell When I was younger, we didn’t have to “pre-order” cookies, our Troop Leader would just have boxes and we would take what we wanted to sell and then come back and get more if we sold out. It started off innocently. My dad would eat a box and then write a “IOU” for the cookies instead of given me the cash.…

I do not weigh myself and even at my monthly doctors appointments, I have them weigh me backwards. I don’t want to know the number. I measure with a measuring tape, I also can tell fluctuations with certain clothes in my closet. I also like to do progress pictures. I think we look at ourselves so often in the mirror that…

@JeromeBarry1 I call myself Happy because I should have been dead 10 years ago (I’m celebrating my anniversary in August). My body shut down and there was nothing that I could do, no amount of money, not my education...nothing. I managed through and even my doctors are astounded that I am here and doing relatively well.…

_Walking is a great way to start. Park your Car just a little bit farther than before (but please be safe a bout it.) you don’t have to go full ham beast because every step makes a difference . If you have enjoy walking, admire the scenery and just enjoy the beauty nature that’s all around. If you Walking inside in a…

@quebot I’m not familiar with Google Fit. I usually wear a chest strap and have a Polar because I rarely do machine equipment. When I see the calorie count, I take in consideration of how I “felt” during the workout. I feel like I’m pretty close, but again, I don’t feel like I can trust that number 100%

I’m actually looking for a new HRM (my last one finally went to HRM heaven after 3 years, but I did swim and workout pretty much all the time.) Even if it said the amount burned, I still take it will a grain of salt, but at least it gives me a baseline count

@malibu927 Thank you for the quick response. Due to medical issues, I could never eat my calories allocated AND my exercise calories. I usually am eating until about 12 am to just get my “normal” calories in.

So happy you found a place that you like! When you find the right place that have good classes and good people, you actually look forward to going. I am a class person, I take usually 2 a day. I can workout on my own, but I love the camaraderie that I get from the other people...and if it's a good playlist. I'm sold! Have…

I’m gonna have to bow out of this conversation then...you said you give yourself a “couple of hours” to eat which indicates it’s more than 1 hour, but you said you eat for 1 hour, so, Good Luck with whatever you doing.

Scissors. Yes, I’m that person who cuts almost everything with scissors. Everything.

Granted, you have to spend gas, but I always hit up the Dollar Tree Store first, you can usually find all canned vegetables and condiments there. THEN, I hit Aldi’s to get items and then when I can’t find the rest of my list, I head to our regular grocery store. Seriously, I like honey in my tea but I’m not going to spend…

@VeggieGirlforLife It’s in my bio, but I have had my entire stomach, gallbladder, appendix and colon removed due to Gastroparesis and Colonic Inertia. I was doing okay but started to get bloated and really full. I was on a liquid diet but as I started to eat again, I started with I could eat (I’m low fiber) so I was eating…

Hi! May I ask are you fasting for religious reasons or just because you like doing it? I’m only asking because you will end up getting a lot of you’re probably not eating enough unless you are consuming all your calories in that one hour which seems unlikely, but anything is possible. Maybe you can shed a little light on…

I work out in the morning, so I can get it out of the way, because once my kids get home from school there’s no telling what can come up between helping with homework, dinner and my Netflix. I always have my stuff out the day before so there’s no excuse that I can’t find a shoe or my headphones. I also have ankle weights…

Good Morning! I been juicing for about 3 years. At one point, I was juicing for all my meals. I found this website and it really helps break down the calorie counts/plus gives the nutritional breakdown as well. Now that produce is getting more abundant because of the warmer weather, I will probably start juicing everyday…

This is so weird because I started binge watching Zero point days on WW on YouTube and can’t stop clicking the next video :D But, I was so curious to see what the “calorie” count actually was on that day that 0 points. Like chicken was a 0 point, but isn’t it like 200 calories as a “regular” food? I wish I knew how much…

The best food plan for you is what you can realistically do (read that as what you can do AND honestly do.). Make a plan that incorporates the foods you like and add in some things that you may not eat now, but are willing to try and those you simply won’t eat. So, if you really aren’t willing to give up, let’s say chips.…

April Goal 24 (because this is my first challenge) April 1...0. I didn’t do a damn thing.

It could be a number of things because weight fluctuates throughout the day. I also think (my opinion) that you are not eating enough calories. I’m not sure of your stats, but if that is you in your profile picture, you would probably need more than 1200 to just live on and that’s not including what exercise that you are…

I really like your avatar! It makes me happy :) if you’re constantly on the go, then perhaps you can do some meal prep. Cut up some veggies, or fruit, throw in some protein or nuts, but have something readily available. I understand we are all busy, but you need to plan if you want to see some results. Logging your food is…

Welcome! Please don’t let her husband’s fear of vegetables (mine, swears he can only eat cucumbers, really? Come, on!) be the cause of you not getting your health together. You can make the same meal, just watch your portions and ADD a veggie selection to YOUR plate and enjoy. Don’t hinder your progress. Sometimes, we have…

@SalsaGirl636 To be honest, I’m about to turn 46 in a few days and I feel better than I did in my 30’s. I don’t stress out about the small things as much. My priorities have changed and even though I love my family and friends a lot, I’ve learned to put myself first in regards to my health (both mentally and physically).…

Hi! For the record, the scale is not the end all when it comes to losing weight. It’s just a tool, just like a measuring tape (even tho I LOVE them) fat calipers, clothes or a mirror. I do think pictures tell a lot, but I digress. Don’t be discouraged if you aren’t seeing things as quickly as you want to see them. Things…

You’ve acknowledged the hardest part which is realizing you need to make a change. I think you’re off to a great start. Don’t be discouraged when things don’t go as planned, because everyone makes mistakes, just simply just have to learn from them and strive to do a little better each day! You got this!! :) :)

I don’t really believe in dieting. I simple think it is a lifestyle change. Instead of cutting different foods, find the foods that you like and work it into your calories count. For example, if you cut out carbs, but know you like carbs, you are setting yourself to fail. Many people who are successful with weight are…
