Hey Everyone! I’m Melody from Hampton VA. Fasting is life, I just love it. For 23 hrs a day I fast and I eat one meal a day. At 6:30pm Mon-Fri I go to Zumba and/or MixFit I also try to weight train the rest of the week, I do at least 3rounds of 15 on every part of my body in 4 months I only lost 25pds It would be great if I had someone more experienced to help me get the most out of this. I incorporated the Keto Diet as well. Someone, anyone please help me stay motivated.

    Hi! May I ask are you fasting for religious reasons or just because you like doing it? I’m only asking because you will end up getting a lot of you’re probably not eating enough unless you are consuming all your calories in that one hour which seems unlikely, but anything is possible. Maybe you can shed a little light on your situation?

    Well I give myself a couple of hours to eat my calories. It is a little hard to get what I need down. I only get a little over 1000 down and I’m stuffed. I fast because I tried so many diets and this actually works. I just wish it works as fast as some of the lady’s I seen do this.

    I’m gonna have to bow out of this conversation then...you said you give yourself a “couple of hours” to eat which indicates it’s more than 1 hour, but you said you eat for 1 hour, so, Good Luck with whatever you doing.

    Hi Melody, first and foremost I commend you on being able to stick to a regiment such as the one you have detailed in your post.... Trying to get your daily intake in such a small window of opportunity deserve a plateau of respect regardless rather you're doing it in an hour or two.... it's a feat no mere mortal can accomplish considering it takes Supreme discipline and a host of other attributes so many of us do not have. Stay the course of your journey I think the weight that you have lost in these four months is normal you're basically losing 6 lb a month... And that's nothing to sneeze at, I must say great job. Try not to focus so much on what others are doing because behind closed doors you never know what they're doing to get where they at, just continue to concentrate on what you're doing so you can continue to move in the direction of where you're going.... #LoaisGoal

    Hi girl! I'm happy you've come here. I wouldn't necessarily recommend fasting for weight loss, as it can really mess with your relationship to food and with your metabolism and health. It seems like you have dragged your metabolism through the mud and it might need some time to recover so that you can lose fat in a safe way. I would recommend you look up a reverse diet and start thinking about whether that is something you could implement.

    My energy is through the roof, on any other diet I usually catch every illness the kids bring home and want to sleep all day. I just feel good all the way around fasting. Your right @LoaisGoal everyone is different, I just have to be patient. Thanks for all the positive feedback. I need people that’s not so quick to give up on me.

    @melodysgolden Please accept my apology, I’m sure I came off as a :s:# I have my own issues with not being able to enough at times, so I apologize if I seemed to have written you off so quickly because that was not my intention at all.
