Congrats! I wondered if there were many other "seniors" on here. I'm 68yo and have lost -140 since Jan 2013. In 2015 I coasted on my success of losing 100# and lost only 16#. Now I'm back on losing track and have lost 32# so far in 2016. SW 376 CW 236 GW 186

I am succeeding this time because I actually really changed my lifestyle. It took my youngest son then 28yo telling me at age 65 that I always ignored my family's efforts to talk to Me about my weight/health. That conversation reminded me how my alcoholic mother did nothing about her drinking despite the concerns of her…

To get down to 224. Started WW @376# 1/12/13, 24 pounds shy of 400! Mini goal: to be 24# away from 200! Then Onederland in 2017! At age 68 my goal of a pound a week it's doable.

That the more I lose the more I realize I have more to lose. After I loss 100# my WW Mtg Ldr said "Don't you quit!" She had seen others reach a milestone only to stop. I stayed on plan "sorta" and only lost 16# on 2015. Now in first 32 weeks in 2016 I have lost 32# and have lost 140#. Now I realize I want to lose 50 more…

As a kid growing up in 1950s I was taught to "clean your plate" get second helpings was routine. Raise three boys sorta like that. Thankfully all three lost weight when they moved out on their own and none are over weight. I remember eating others left overs at restaurants❗️

Happy to report I gained only .6 at my WW WI today. So I did not celebrate my new lower weight in 230s.

Thurs has been my official WW WI day for years. We used to have a regular group of GoaDs post every week. Then it got down to me and one or two others. My WI was +.6 today and I'm happy after a -5# last week. A BD dinner at Italian restaurant Sat and road trip with my 12yo grandson that included two meals out. I even had a…

You can use # to sort and get to a general group like #wwbros. The # followed by the subject you want is one way. Go to search & explore. I play on Connect mainly to see inspiring stories and brag on myself and get pats on the back. There is. ALOT of FB type stuff that I avoid.

Charlie, You're slipping! Dennis the Menace Gerry Rivers? Tony Bennett (Not the VA basketball coach) Please add my grandson and niece to next years 8/3 BD list.

In 2012 my youngest son, then age 28, told me "Dad, whenever we talk to you about your weight you just blow us off." It took me back to my childhood memory of how my family tried to talk to our alcoholic mother about her drinking. She didn't change and died at age 54. That was the moment it struck me that what I was doing…

Formerly Jim376, I joined WW in Jan 2013 @ 376# and age 65. Life time of being over weight, losing weight but always gaining it back plus more. Joined WW "one more time" in lieu of WLS. After learning a lot on GOAD, having a great WW Mtg Ldr, WW meeting group IRL and exercising I have truly Changed my Lifestyle. I have…

Change is hard, just like losing weight is hard. Our WW ML said something today about how we all hate change but we all came to WW to CHANGE! We wanted to change our weight, sizes, health, lifestyle, and reap the benefits of making Big Changes in our personal daily lives.
