I have found using my fitbit for the amount of calories left is more accurate. I hit a plateau and I got one for the holidays and now I am losing weight again by following. MFP gives me way more calories to eat and I just log my food in it since it's better for that and use it for support.

Choose more watery fruits and vegetables. I rarely eat mango because of all the sugar but I do eat a lot of watermelon and apples which are a little lower. I hardly go over my sugar goal because I don't eat a lot of processed food. I wouldn't worry so much about natural sugars.

I got a Charge 2 over the holidays, want to start doing weekly challenges, feel free to add https://www.fitbit.com/user/578FH6

I'm the same height as you but in 115. On the days I walk 10,000 sets my Fitbit gives me a minimum of 1800 calories to mantain and it's been working. Maybe since your lighter it could a little less. Maybe add 10-15 minutes of cardio to your workouts. On the days im more sedentary I burn closer 1600. I would definitely…

I'm glad to hear! I got the charge 2 as well so I wasn't sure what to expect.

I am the same height and exactly the same weight. I'm curious what does your daily calorie burn look like? When I walk an average at 7K steps my days are around 1700.

I get what you mean I was 135 at my heaviest and to average size people that doesn't seem like much but that technically overweight for my height. Now I am 115 aiming for 110-112, same height as the OP. I have been in the 90's and even 105 but its really not sustainable. I think try working on a goal weight you know you…

I lost 20 pounds in college. I use to look up the nutrition facts through the schools website or try my hardest to match it up. Plan ahead, they put the menus for the week ahead of time usually. I would work out 5 days a week. It didn't have to be any extensive. When it was too cold to walk to the gym, I would go up and…

I got mine yesterday for the holidays and have tried reading everything I can but I think mine is defective. At one point it stopped counting my steps, it doesn't light up when I move my wrist, and I dont understand the adjustment it gives MFP.

BTW my clothes and my body started to change during those three months and that progress was much more promising than the scale.

I didn't weight my self the first 3 months and honestly I wish I had stuck with that. I have become so obsessed with the scale it started dictating my mood every morning so I am taking a break from it, still working out and counting but less obsessing.

Hi! Im 5 ft SW: 135? (Didn't weight my self, but thats what i was last time my pants stopped fittings and I lost weight) CW: 115 GW 110, might just stay where I am at and start adding more muscle.

I just graduated from college. One of my friends actually was able to get on food stamps because he was a full time college student with no help from his parents who were not part of his life. He only used them when he was in school and after he graduated he didn't receive them anymore but he was able to get fresh food.…

I've been comtemplating this for weeks. It's been 6 months, I didn't have a lot to lose 20-25 pounds and I only have 5 more that I added after I reached near my first goal but it's been weeks and not much has changed on the scale and honestly I feel hungry all the time.

Last 10 pounds are SLOOOOOW! If you're doing every thing right, just be patient. There's no room for inaccuracies. I understand the graduate school stress. If you're done, CONGRATS! If it's your entrance exam, GOOD LUCK![/quote] Thanks! It's over now but for a couple weeks it was a lot of stress between my new job and…

Yeah I even upgraded mine to digital to be more accurate. I went to my doctor and I am waiting for my blood work to come back. I was under a lot of stress for my graduate school exam and now that its been over for two weeks the scale did budge a little more.

I am exactly in your same boat. Same height and same weight and same history. From what I've seen and experienced, up your calories slowly for your body to adjust and pick up a weightlifting routine. I have started to lift more weights and I have noticed my body looks so much better. I am 23, but I have never looked…

Have you been stressed? I have recently been on a 6-7 week plateau, most of which happened during a stressful period of my life (I was studying for my graduate school exam while working). Now that its over, Ive started to notice the scale is moving again.

I am going through the same issue. Its been 6 weeks. I hit around my goal weight and I think its because of hormones. I stopped stressing but kept a strict calorie count this week and its starting to budge a little. Be patient, don't fast for 24 hours cause that might lead to you binging. I just have been going through the…

I make a lot of stuff from skinnytaste.com

I also have the same background and low BP as you, around that same area. Last time I went to the doc two weeks ago I was 95/54. I started adding more soup, its sodium I don't notice as much. I eat a ton of salt and my doctor told me the same thing to keep eating more. Mine was not usually this low but I am also working…

That was my first change too! It's been a year since I've had sugar in my coffee. Keep it going!

I ended up with 950 but I didn't weigh everything. I did the next day for leftovers and I think I was probably in the right ball park. I also think it's cause I don't really drink that much so it was mostly food.
-
Usually when my stomach has issues, try to eat only cooked vegetables, no raw salad. I don't drink alcohol either.
-
I prelog usually three days in advance and play around with it sometimes. It's probably the thing I attribute most to my weight loss since I know what to expect and can make changes if I need to but I have a general idea. Only advice is not to be too committed to what you prelogged, life happens and I leave a little wiggle…

Feel free to add me

I think water consumption might be attributing to it. I usually only drink water and since starting MFP very minimal alcohol (I don't like to drink my calories), I usually take a glass every morning at work and keep filling it up but I don't think its enough for the amount of exercise I do as well.

I started out with 10 pound weights, struggling. This week I picked up 40 pounds combined. I feel my self getting stronger and I love it!

Thats a good idea! Yeah I have RD on my insurance plan.
