Fitbod is a good app. I use it for strength training. There's a section for you to choose body weight only exercises, and of course, full gym equipment exercises. They also provide videos and written instructions.

Oh yeah, sometimes both the phone and the watch sync exercise calories to MyFitnessPal, and it doubles your activity. I just go in and delete one.

The pic shows how my stats look. If I'm walking my neighborhood, I log it as an outdoor walk on my watch. It does show the daily steps, but it zeroes it out. Hope I helped.
