It doesn't matter if I go before I go running, I still get caught with an urgency.....I thinks its the bobbing up and down!! I would love to be able to run outside but because of this I can't

I started the C25K program a few months ago and just completed my first 5K nonstop in 34 minutes. Glad to hear you overcome your anxiety and enjoying your running.

I have literally just finished my first 5K without stopping or walking and done it in 34 minutes. Maybe increase your speed whilst your doing run/walk intervals and eventually you'll do more running than walking at the increased speed until you do the full 5K. Good luck with the race

I've gone from non-runner to just completing my first nonstop 5K in around 8 weeks. I'm currently 102KG and 5'9 and never thought I would manage 1 mile let alone 3!! Take it slow and persevere.

at the end of C25K, should we be aiming to complete the 5K within 30 minutes? I have just done a 5 minute warm-up followed by 30 mins run and was only on 2.9 miles. Am I running too slow?

I read somewhere to set the incline at between 1% - 2% which mimics a flat surface....I use this whilst running

I'm an IBS-D sufferer too. I don't get the pain like many others but I do suffer from the urgency side of things. the elliptical is a great machine. Make sure you crank up the resistance and you'll certainly be feeling it after just a few minutes
