Managed week 5 day 3 tonight.....20 minutes solid running at 5.2 mph. Absolutely pleased as I never thought I could run nearly 2 miles in one go!! Looking forward to starting week 6!!

How long can runners knee last?
So I stupidly pushed myself too hard and too fast and now my right knee is in constant pain. I'm absolutely gutted I can't currently exercise....its been a week already. How long can this kind of injury take to heal? Its a dull ache just to the inside of the bottom of kneecap if anyone can assist.

Leg ache after run
Tonight I manged to run 2.5 miles in 25 minutes which I'm chuffed with as I weigh 220lbs. Anyway, despite a 5 minute warmup, stretches and warmdown I have a slight pain below my knee and above my ankle. Can anyone recommend some good stretches to help me avoid injury next time?

Looking for some advice....I've been going to the gym as much as I possibly can but some days I physically cannot find the time to go. My job involves sitting at a desk for 8 hours a day so wondered if there are any fat burning exercises I could be doing whilst I'm imprisoned in my chair?

Excessive wind!!!
All joking aside, I have started using the treadmill after building up some endurance on the elliptical, however I really suffer from excessive wind/flatulence/farting etc!! Why would fast walking/jogging have this effect? I can spend 30 mins on the elliptical fine. Any ideas?

Pushing myself too hard??
Being fairly new to fitness and going to the gym, how do you know when your maybe pushing yourself too hard? Last night I achieved the below results on elliptical and came off absolutely knackered! The trouble is I always want to beat my previous performance but when does this become too much?
