Yes, you can eat absolutely anything and still lose weight as long as you eat at a deficit. However, you'll probably find that it's easier to stay within those calories with tons of veggies and lean proteins and still be satisfied at the end of the day.

Overnight oats are my go to for breakfast. Cheap and easy to make in bulk.

I've tried shirataki noodles (tofu version, a little more calories, but not by a lot), and they didn't taste like anything to be. I didn't get that "dead fish" smell or taste that everyone talks about. I would maybe compare them to rice noodles. Great on calories, but not worth the price for me.

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Mary and Max, Dancer in the Dark, 'night Mother, The Girl Next Door (no, not the comedy from 2004) are all good additions to this list. Watch all of them in a row if you're a masochist and hate yourself.

Honestly, any run of the mill one will one will work fine. A scale is a scale, though there are certainly advanced models out there that do some pretty cool things. I just have a simple one I got from target for $23. No need for anything fancy.

The first thing I notice is the lack of a food scale. Seriously, just go out to Wal Mart and buy one now. They are are a complete game changers. All you're doing with measuring cups is very rough guesstimating. Don't cheat yourself. If you're measuring, might as well do it right.

I agree with your friends. You can't outrun a bad diet. It is much harder to run long enough to burn off a candy bar than it is to just not eat it in the first place. Exercise is great for a lot of things, just not weight loss. However, I do like earning a 100cal snack after a good workout. Very satisfying.

If I was completely sedentary and never exercised, I would absolutely gain on 2,000. I'm 5'3", 24 year old woman. With my active job, I maintain my current weight on 2,034. When I reach goal, I expect my maintenance to be around 1,800, give or take a little.

I went from 198 to 120. . . Only to end up right back at 170 I feel your pain.

I, too, have lived in a state of constant failure. Here's to making real, sustainable change. We got this.

NO.

It definitely works depending on your energy needs and the like. I only eat about 300 calories during the day and then have a HUGE dinner because I like going to bed full. It's what works best for me.

Feel free to add me. I am in the same spot. Went from 198 to 120. After a ton of things changing in my life caused a huge relapse into my binge eating, I went back up to 170 in less than a year. I'm down to 167 as of this morning. Joined a gym and made a meal plan and here I am. Here's to a better, healthier tomorrow, but…

Honestly, I don't that the texture is far off enough for it to matter to me. It's a really great substitute in recipes, however. I like to make a peanut butter thai type of noodle dish, and PB2 works perfectly; can't tell the difference.

Dy, raw ingredients. Always. I find that this is always consistent and no variable.

One Punch Man is the only anime I will ever need.

If you can be charged more for any existing condition, then yes. Being obese makes you a higher risk customer to an insurance company. Period. Should the be allowed to deny you? No. But just like car insurance, the riskier it is for them to insure you, the more you have to pay.

I got the Charge HR 2. I really found it pretty useless to me. I already work a very, very active job, like 20k steps a day. So it wasn't encouraging me to do any extra. And because my job is active, I had to constantly avoid breaking it. In the end, I stopped wearing it because it was more of a hassle than it was worth.…

Maybe you could eat the same things every day and switch it up weekly. That way, you only have to count once that week and you don't have to think about it anymore than that. Meal prep could also be a good solution. That way, it isn't something that you have to continuously think about. Just grab an go, and you can rest…

You know what? I'm going to be completely honest here. I am 100% doing this for looks at this point in time. I have other reasons, but my driving force every day is feeling sick when I look in the mirror.

Get a food scale. You cannot eye ball or guesstimate; you are sabotaging yourself. Count EVERYTHING; yes, even fruits and veggies. Oh, and did I mention get a FOOD SCALE.

There are so, so many. But lately, as I'm creeping up into my late 20's, I want to be able to have a healthy family with my soon to be husband. I want to be healthy and maintain healthy habits. When I have children, I want to be able to give them healthy habits. I don't want them to have to basically learn how to live like…
