I once watched a YouTube post about someone living in Australia, and they would visit like fruit and veggie stands and just buy fruits and veggies from their it was also low cost. Maybe take a look and see if farmer markets exist.

I mostly drink water before working out and water that has electrolytes after working out. I'm not sure what the hype is about consuming proteins right afterwords.

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing... so you want to let go of more money when you can just count calories and weigh your food which is successful. All you need is a deficit, and clearly what you were doing before wasn't working. I personally wouldn't.

Yes, walking 5500 steps would still have her sedentary. on MFP go to the goal section enter her height information and see what information shows up if she wanted to lose 0.5 pounds a week. Let us know how it goes!

How does your sister track her food intake? Does she weigh her food? Because food labels often underestimate calories, and it's very easy to be eating more than one thinks. Also it could also be a scale issue/ hormonal weight gain tom etc Good luck!
