HOLIDAY WEIGHT LOSS CHALLENGE WEEK 9 I totally dropped off the radar- got discouraged and embarrassed by holiday weight gain. I totally do. I find that it helps set the day. It usually helps get / keep me on track. I did have a bad weeked, gain and then, not step on the scale for a week because I was discouraged, and BOOM! 2 pound weight gain.

are we going to have a Holiday Weight Loss Challenge? Nov-Dec-Jan? I'd be SUPER interested. I need this gorup to keep me on track.

It was a bad food week. Got very discouraged. Ate all the candy. all the things. ALL. THE. THINGS. I think losing my fitbit (and the replacement I ordered arrived broken). need to kick my self back into gear. MY STARTING WEIGHT: 239.7lbs (3/15/2016) Week THIRTEEN weigh in: 8/1/16: 210 lbs - I am at the beach- on…

looking for support too - I have been back at MFP since june and was on succeeding (down 40 pounds) and on track- but this week has been hard- I know the holidays are going to do a number on me.

MY STARTING WEIGHT: 239.7lbs (3/15/2016) cannot believe I didn't gain. Week was hectic:* had family in town for my parent's 54th anniversary, so, lots of eating. * I lost my fitbit (alta - just fell off my wrist someplace), so that made me less motivated. * I did not exercise or even walk like I had been. * so unmotivated…

MY STARTING WEIGHT: 239.7lbs (3/15/2016) About my week: I went to a wedding- a little vaycay to SanFran - and that meant lots of food and drinking. When traveling in general –I tend to “reward” myself a little too much – not to mention, San Francisco has so much good food. BUT I still posted a small loss. Must have been…

MY STARTING WEIGHT: 239.7lbs (3/15/2016) This challenge has been super helpful in keeping me motivated. I love checking back during the week as more people log in their successes and challenges. Everyone is sticking with it and most are making great strides. I am baffled (and happily amazed) by those who consistently log…

if you eat dairy /not vegan- greek yogurt has 17-20gr of protein. that ups the game a little. and you can get 0%, 2% or whole fat, so, that may help too... and there's always eggs (I eat 2 egg whites and one whole egg when I'm low on protein & fat) To get my protein, I also eat garbanzo beans, lentils and a protein shake…

I agree. I have been hearing this more and more. I have not done much in the way of exercising (except walking everyday) and I cut my calories to 1100 - 1200 and have lost 40 pounds so far. I'm no spring chicken, so, it is not my youth or metabolism. I also have read that "earning" calories by exercising does not work in…

MY STARTING WEIGHT: 239.7lbs (3/15/2016) Working on my head space. Amazed that I haven't turned to food to make myself feel better. Went out dancing last night and woke up with over 4000 steps on my fitbit - now - THAT put a smile on my face, but it may have been that I went out to one of my favorite places and saw an…

MY STARTING WEIGHT: 239.7lbs (3/15/2016) Definitely going through a rough patch. still going through the motions and the scale is reflecting a loss, but I am not a good mindset to be happy with my progress. Even though I I am right at the 200 mark. I am usually one to see the bright side, almost to the point of being…
