Congratulations! That is quite an accomplishment. Keep up the great progress!

Thank you all so much for your really sweet comments. I was really nervous about posting this. @mrspattycake definitely try Jessica Smith videos on YouTube. She has a wide range of work out types and there are low impact and high impact modifications depending on your fitness level. I would also highly suggest Leslie…

Yeah, I really have. I'm not the same person I was.

Anyone can feel free to add me. I am on here every day. I log pretty much everything I eat and all my exercise. I post pictures every so often. I love to encourage others. I've lost about 70 pounds since June

First of all, congratulations on your weight loss success! I am about your height, and I was about your starting weight when I started in June 2016. I am about at your weight now. So that's pretty cool! Good for you! Anyway, about your friend. Is this someone you see in real life, or is it just someone on Facebook? If it…

Definitely noticed it first in my face. Then my waist, but my hips not so much. Definitely hips and thighs have taken the longest to show progress, but that's OK because I know it's there!

I think this is a great idea. I wish I had come across it earlier. I started out my weight loss journey at 237 pounds, I'm currently 175 pounds. Congratulations ladies! You all are going to do amazing, just don't give up no matter what!

I don't really deny myself anything, I just limit myself to the correct portion. If I'm craving chocolate, I will have one or two mini Hershey's chocolate bars. If I'm craving ice cream, I have a frozen yogurt bar. I make sure it all works into my daily calorie goal.

Not every day is perfect. There are days that I have a little treats, but I work it into my calories. Last night I had a Girl Scout cookie, but I just had one instead of the whole box which made me feel better. The key is not to deny yourself things, but have the right amount of things. No food is off-limits, just be smart…

First of all, never quit. M FP can help you be accountable if you're being honest and you're logging. Even if you are just gaining and losing the same amount, you can at least start to see a pattern and recognize some areas that you struggle with. Never give up on the process at all. Your health is worth it. Your little…

The best thing you can do is make smart choices. At this point, you may be more aware of portion size, so take that into consideration. Maybe instead of alcohol or soda, drink water. Maybe you could eat before you go, so you're not as tempted to eat because you're not hungry. There's nothing wrong with having a little…

Hey everybody! First of all, it's so great to see so many people that want to support each other. I started in June, and I have lost 55 pounds. I have another 30-50 to go. I'm 30 years old, wife, and mom to a six-year-old boy. If anyone would like to add me, that would be wonderful.

Thank you for posting the link to the group! I requested to join so hopefully it will go through soon

I would love to be a part of this, but if there isn't any room that's fine. Feel free to add me as a friend. I love to motivate and encourage people! Let's make 2017 our year of fitness and health

I would love to get to know other women in my similar situation. I'm 30 years old, 5'1" tall and I currently weigh 189.6. My starting weight was 237. My goal weight at this time is 150 although I'm thinking I may lower it as it gets closer. If anyone would like to add me as a friend, feel free. I would love to get to know…

I love the positivity and enthusiasm! I have lost about 50 pounds, and I hope to lose another 40-50 in this new year. Anyone who would like to add me, feel free! I love encouraging others to accomplish their goals

Thanks! How much do they cost?

I can relate. My husband is 6'3" and weighs about 175-178. I am 5'2" and currently weigh 192 and I am trying to lose 50-60 pounds. He eats a lot of junk. He has quite the sweet tooth. It kind of frustrates me that he doesn't have to watch anything he eats and he always stay so little, but then we are just different. I am…

I am in the middle of my journey. I started out at 237 pounds and I am currently at 195. I'm wanting to get down to 130-132. We will see if I actually make it there. If anyone would like to add me, that would be wonderful. I really like to encourage others and see people reach their goals.

Love my fit bit! Feel free to add me [edited by mods]

My husband was kind of supportive at first. I don't think that he realized I was really going to stick with it. Anyway, he was kind of supportive but then slowly I can tell that it just kind of annoys him. He doesn't understand why I am so active and he doesn't like to try the healthier food that I cook. He has pretty high…

Anyone on this thread can feel free to add me. I have lost 40 pounds so far and I have about 50 more to go. Would love to encourage and motivate others on this journey

Sure it's possible to lose weight. But also, try to have realistic expectations. Christmas is only one day after all. I know there are holiday parties sprinkled throughout the month. Make the best choices you can and don't beat yourself up too much. After all, it's a journey.

I was at a routine doctor appointment and they weighed me like they always do. I was shocked at the number on the scale. It was the highest number I'd ever been. I decided that I was done. So later that day I came on this app and started my journey. That was six months and 38 pounds ago. I still have away to go to hit my…
