  • Yes, I find this too. This picture is old but I went from 282 to 141 and am now at 151....need to get control of my night time eating...foraging in the middle of the night with not get choices. Have been exercising and could do more of that by getting extra steps. Are you still tracking every bite? I need to start…
  • I have been on a low salt diet for years. My profile picture is old and I weigh about 140 pounds less than I did then. Wish I had lost the weight years ago...I could have been in so much less pain and able to move around better. I am 60....keep strong and you can do this!
  • I have been tracking for almost a year (during my second time through). I started once before and then came back last August and really stuck with it. I lost 60 pounds - then had gastric bypass -and have lost another 60 pounds. Still have about 30 more to go. My picture is from before losing weight but I keep it because it…
  • I had RnY (gastric bypass) in January 2017 and am doing very well. I am down 118 pounds so far with about 35 more pounds to go to goal. Exercising every day has actually become something I look forward to. So glad I had this done.
  • I don't know if anyone ever read my post from August 2016... However, I had RnY in Jan 2017...I am down 118 pounds since I posted the last post. Been following a nutritionist and an exercise physiologist. Feel great! Exercise almost every day at Planet Fitness. Wish I had done this years ago but am glad I did it now.
  • Hi, I had RnY on 5 Jan 2017. Just 3 weeks out today. Doing well, back to work, and tolerating puree food nicely.
  • I am so sorry you are going through all of this. Totally can relate ....my son (now 36 yrs old) was diagnosed at age 4 with Wilms' tumor, had 15 months of chemo, reoccurance at age 7 and just surgery at that time since he maxed his chemo. My daughter was diagnosed at age 30 with thyroid cancer...is now 38. I have gone up…
  • Does the hospital that you had your surgery at have a support group? I am still in the pre-op section and hope to have RnY in Dec/Jan. I go to Walter Reed NMMC and it is mandatory that we attend at least 5 support group meetings prior to surgery. We have an amazing support group and this issue is one that has come up…
  • Welcome. I am 59 year old, live in Washington DC and still am working. I joined 2 weeks ago and this program is awesome. I was totally shocked at how much sodium, fat, and sugar I am consuming and how little protein. I am very honest in what I track and therefore am keeping to my diet. My morning blood glucose has gone…

  • Got up to use the bathroom in the middle of the night. I should just go back to bed, but I tend to go into the kitchen afterwards and night eat. Last night was bad for me. I ate a cup and half of Ben and Jerry Fudge brownie icecream......took me WAY over my calories, carbs, and fat for the day. I need to get my night…
  • I am new here too. Don't know if I am the right person to motivate you since you look fit and I am so not fit. Just starting down the road.
