Well, first I have to disclose that I suspect that my cat is actually an alien doing a really bad impersonation of a cat. So if this happened I would have to wonder if he is conducting some kind of psychological experiment.

I do this too. I put gloves on before I enter the store and take them carefully off after aI return my cart. So if they are wearing the gloves during their commute they should take them off before entering the office to prevent spreading.
