Are you not eating dairy? You could easily get your calories in by drinking whole milk and full fat Greek yogurt. Vegetarian does not mean "I only eat fruits and vegetables." I'm with everyone else, 1000-1200 is not enough.
-
That was a great book. Everyone should read it.
-
I'm no expert but I'm guessing you're not eating enough. Why do you choose to only eat 1200 calories a day?
-
Add me. I won't be mean but I'll be honest!

The only thing that matters is burning more calories than you consume. CI < CO. Calories in must be less than CO in order to lose weight. Set up your MFP with your weight and activity level and figure out how many calories a day you need to consume to lose .5 to 1lb a week. Log all of your food accurately and eat whatever…
-
Here's the thing, you can eat those potato chips and pasta! Just log them correctly and make sure they fit into your alloted daily calories. 1360 sounds much more doable than 1200. Give yourself some leeway to eat things that you love to eat. Remember the most important concept to losing weight is your must burn more…

If I were going to eat 10,000 calories in a day my meals would comprise of chocolate chip cookies, cake and donuts. WTF is the point of eating 10,000 calories in one day except to say you did it? (and probably end up with a terrible stomach ache the next day)

Good job Hannah, I'm glad you're getting the help you need. Working with a therapist will definitely help you. I would suggest Googling some recipes and cook food that interests you. Use full fat ingredients (whole milk, whole greek yogurt, butter, etc) instead of light ingredients and you'll see a difference.

7 lbs to go before Hawaii over Thanksgiving. My bf wants me to wear one of those bikinis that doesn't cover all of your back side! Not quite ready for that, lol

If you are more concerned about burning calories I would stay strictly running is your way to go. However, if you want to gain muscle and look toned you have to do some weight training.
-
If it were up to me.... I could survive on wine and protein shakes.

I go to Orange Theory Fitness, which is a HIIT workout involving treadmill, weights and rowing. During a typical 55 minute session I burn average 550 calories. 25 minutes of this is treadmill work and the rest weights and rowing. We use a heart rate monitor. I use this same heart rate monitor with the Orange Theory ap when…

Look at your breakdown of calories on a weekly basis, not just a daily basis. I am VERY good with my eating during the week, but all bets are off on Friday and Saturday especially if I have a few drinks. But most of the time it doesn't matter and over the course of a week the calories even out. I do log EVERYTHING I eat…

Eat at a deficit. Eat a lot of protein. Lift heavy weights. Read the book "Thinner Leaner Stronger" by Michael Matthews.

Wear gloves while you row

My favorite 1 cup almond milk 1 tablespoon almond butter 1/3 cup low fat Greek yogurt plain 1 banana Ice 1 scoop Gold Standard 100% whey protein Just under 400 calories and holds me over until lunch

Meal planning. Have a plan for what you're going to eat for the day so you don't get that "Oh my goodness I am so hungry I have to eat anything right now feeling." Have snacks on hand at all times so you can eat whenever you want. Use your Diary to log everything and do not over your allotted daily calories.
-
What do you stuggle with the most? Do you log your food in the Diary? You cannot lose weight in certain spots, your body will lose weight all over and eventually you will notice it in your problem areas.
-
If I stopped eating by 7pm I would NEVER eat dinner. Timing doesn't matter. The only thing that matters is burning more calories than you consume, eating at a deficit. Though if I stopped eating at 7pm I probably wouldn't wake up 2 times in the middle of the night to pee.... hmmmmm

You are addicted to processed sugar. You just have to stop and quit cold turkey. Takes about 2 weeks for the cravings to go away, but trust me it's so worth it! Substitute those sugary foods with fruit or other foods with natural sugar like berries, yogurt. The problem with processed sugar is they fill you up fast, but…

Gold Standard 100% Whey Protein powder. 100% of the protein is from Whey and only 4 grams of sugar per serving. I buy it on Amazon, and get the Natural Vanilla flavor. No added flavors or sugar. I usually have 1 scoop in a shake with some almond milk in the morning before breakfast and 1 scoop after I work out. I aim for…

Do you have any gyms in your area that cater to women and offer group fitness classes? That would be a great way to meet people who also have common interests. Good luck, you can do it!
-
I weigh almost 3 lbs more in the night compared to the morning. Patience, grasshopper, patience. You didn't gain all the weight in 3 days. You're not going to lose in 3 days either.
-
I like premium because it shows you your protein/fat/carbs breakdown for each meal, and you can set calorie goals per meal.

Make a doctor appt ASAP
-
No, but I live in Southern California where half the population seems to be gluten free! (And not because they have celiac)
-
Google is your friend. Just look up Gluten Free recipes. Make a list of all the things you can eat and you like to eat and get creative! You can also order food and other items on Amazon if your local grocery store doesn't carry it, for example soy sauce. Some are gluten free some are not.
-
What does your MFP calculator say you should be eating? Plug your info in and use Mildly Active. That's a good starting point.
-
Having a gluten free diet is not hard these days. While only a small percentage of the population is gluten free because of celiac disease (I'm very sorry you suffer from that) many more people choose to be gluten free. Grocery stores have aisles dedicated to gluten free products and restaurants almost always have items…
