At first I loved to work out at home but then I found a class I loved at the gym.... spinning. I met people and established comfort and people I could go to for advice while working out. I still do some at home but love the gym.

No problem! For so long I wasn't eating anything and felt like poop at the gym. All the sudden, I changed my eating and hit my spinning class and rocked it! Amazing how that works!

When do you eat?? I find that if I eat a protein bar a half hour before working out, I have enough energy to get through my workout. Also, I chug water through my cardio. Then when I get home I have a protein shake. I don't know how tough your workouts are but maybe you just don't have enough nutrients in you close enough…

So you feel you use more of your leg using these shoes? It's amazing how an appropriate shoe can make such a substantial differance. I am going to look them up for sure! I feel most of the burn in my quads and would love to feel the burn in my whole leg.

Thanks! I have been having issues with my ankle hurting and my toes going numb often so I'm hoping a better pair of shoes will help out.

Hi there! I was in a similar situation. I eventually was invited to take a spinning class with a friend and now go 3 days a week and love it. Sometimes it takes that one time and finding something that really works for you and makes exercise fun.

This is what I love about the classes that are offered at my gym. It is all about keeping rhythm/beat with the song so you always know how slow or fast you should be going. I found that after about 6 classes and having the bike set up for me, I was set and no longer sore. Shoes also make a big difference. My feet were sore especially in the center and my toes would go numb. The shoes helped a ton.

Haha! I was really sore just about everywhere below my waste for like 6 classes than my body acclimated. At first, spinning causes more than just muscle soreness that's for sure but once you get past that, it's such a great workout. I go with a friend and that really makes it fun as well... we suffered together!

Also, I am 30, 5'6, 155lbs. I have been seriously thing to lose weight for about 2 months and the last 2 weeks I have held steady.

I only take in about 1000 calories a day as it is so I don't think I can dip much lower without hurting what I am trying to do.. I take in a lot of protein and veggies.
