  • I try to look at the menu before going out. I know in canada most restaurants show the calories, pups dont though..I also ask for no starchy stuff like fries or potatoes (my preferance) I usually ask for sauce on the side. At the end of the day, it's good to plan and be aware of what your eating but theres nothing wrong…
  • No problemo!
  • I am not pissed off all the time, nor did I say I was pissed off to begin with  I simply stated it was annoying. Not that I disliked them, or thought they didnt deserve to sit wherever they wanted to, or that I was pissed...I thought it odd and annoying they chose to workout where they did considering all the other…
  • Seeing as I was mid set I wasn't going to move to another bar lol thats why I just did my sets when they rested. And I would say they are daft, maybe it's just me, but when I pick a spot at the gym I usually try not to get in peoples way, especially when the gym is basically empty lol "they sit there every day" is no…
  • I'm not a confrontational person lol thats why I just waited and did my sets when they rested. It just really didnt make sense to me why they did that when they had tonnes of other mirror and seas available  Like I said, I don't think they meant it at all...I was just annoyed at their daftness lol
  • I feel better doing both. Obviously being in a cal deficit will help with weight loss first and foremost. When I started I did cardio cardio cardio. It does get boring, I now strength train 3 days a week and run 3-4 days a week...keeps things interesting when you change it up a bit!
  • http://www.health.com/health/gallery/0,,20843728,00.html/view-all#spicy-popcorn-3 I use this site to change up my popcorn
  • I dont make lasgna anymore because I don't trust myself around it's delishousness...
  • So make sure you have the right shoes AND socks! I found my regular work socks to cause chafing on my feet, the blisters WILL happen, but the redness and soreness shouldn't happen once you get your runners callous on. I remember blood in socks when I first started running and huge water blisters on the balls of my feet,…
  • I started training for my Half in May back in December, then I got sick AND started lifting so I havn't been training for my run in a month!! So I'm going to follow this 8wk plan to get back on track and ready! Take a look and see if it works for you :)…
  • I know right?!?!?! :weary:
  • So I feel like crap today. I was sick for 11 days and lost some weight and with aunt flow, and hydration from being sick I feel like I've gained everything I've lost back. Kinda feel like I'm having a really hard time getting back on track. I go to the gym/run 7 days a week...so I'm not inactive. And I havn't really gone…
  • Your a stronger person than I
  • Enjoy your dinner!!!
  • Well....sometimes it is lol I know with what I have listed to eat today it's easier to add an apple than a slice of pizza. I also stated if it works then do it, I don't know why you continue to argue this with me :P
  • Mine is awsome, I'm new to lifting so for me the size of the weights are great. If your a heavy lifter the sizeof the weights might not be what your looking for :) ask for a tour and see if you like the machines/weights they have available.
  • I didnt say it was lol if you can fit it in, then do it lol I did it yesterday...not everyone can though depending on what they ate for breakfast, snacks, if they worked out to have extra cals to eat back...there are other things to consider :P I'd really like to point out that I didbt once state it was hard to add pizzato…
  • I stated it was fine if you can fit it into your caories and macros lol so I'm not sure how muchclearer on that I can be. But, I can see how maybe I couldcome across bias, I'm not a huge fan of doughnuts, and I ADORE pizza, just not the way I feel afterwards so I usually opt for something else (not always salad). But as I…
  • Oh it doesnt have to be, thats what I'm saying. You can have your pizza and doughnut, and your apple too! If it all fits in your day...i mean apples all day everyday HAS to be bad for you. All foods are ok in moderation.. I wouldnt eat an apple for dinner, thats silly. I'm just saying healthier options are easier to fit…
  • Nuts and carrots. I was shocked that one adult carrot was over 100 calories, this is why I weigh everything and buy baby carrots (I'm a quantity eater)
  • I've never heard anyone compaire an apple to a doughnut or pizza slice lol is this a real thread?! Or is this done by a troll? At the end of the day you CAN work a pizzaslice into your calories AND macros if done properly, but its WAAAAAAAAAY easier to add an apple into both catagories lol
  • Agghhhh also! Officially not overweight anymore! Not by much lol but still! Out of the overweight catagory!
  • How about next time they do something like that you can pull up a BMI calculator on your phone. You can enter your stats and show them that you are in a healthy weight range for your height. Then you can offer to run their numbers too and see what category they fall into... and based on that decide who should be giving…
  • [quote="courtneyfabulous; Omg that's annoying! I bet they are overweight too...[/quote] Fluffy indeed..
  • My husband wasnt really on board at first, but now weighs out my stuff when he makes any food for us. He's come around. His mother though...I'm 5'6 and 156lbs...i would like to lose more weight but I'm strength training right now so i've plateaued until my body figures out whats going on lol Anyways, his mother makes…
  • I actually never ever drink plain water, ever! I find it boring and hard to get down. I ususally carbonate my water and add some sort of juicy fruit to it to give it some pahzaz. Bubbling up my water makes it feel like a corbonated (pepsi) drink but a lot healthier :)
  • Depends...if I'm running, I need something, nothing too big but I like a banana or something just to fill my tummy. If not, and I stop at a red light, I always feel like I'm going to barf...oddely enough because there would be nothing to barf. Lifting though, I can do either or...i prefer an empty stomach because either…
  • I want to be your friend and I want you to cook for me always...!
