What exactly are you eating? I guess you call what I'm eating as eating clean. I just call it common sense approach to eating healthy. Low sodium No added sugar No fast food Lots of Leary greens Fruits and veggies Grains legumes and seeds Non red meat protein Salmon at least 3 nights per week High fiber Whole grains I have…

I have had various models from the flex they the charge hr. But I love my Surge!!!!

I too am a novice. I've tried the indoor machines. Not only do I get bored staring at a wall or a television but I find I don't get nearly as intense of a workout as I do outdoors. If possible make sure you work hills into your route and push the hardest on them.
-
I prefer the great outdoors with as many hills as possible. I get bored quickly on indoor machines. So I do it completely outdoors, year round.

Just say no. Don't buy it and you won't drink it. That's how I quit smoking. I figured if I didn't buy them I wouldn't smoke them. It worked. Smoke free!!!

I think aloff our bodies go thru phases. First we lose weight then we go thru a phase where we aren't losing rather we are toning and building lean muscle. Also as a though: have you considered increasing your exercise.

Well I've always thought chiropractors were crackpots. Now I know. I eat steel cut oats everyday. They are not only heart healthy they are also one of the top ten foods for diabetics or for those who are high risk for diabetes.

Naked or not, if you chose to wear something it needs to be the same exact article of clothing...just my opinion

For me, my primary focus isn't weight loss. My weight is fine. Toning up, different story. I have changed my lifestyle of eating in order to get my cholesterol, blood pressure, and blood glucose under control which I have done. So having a cheat meal as it is often describe would be just harming myself. So no, I don't do…

For me personally: I do not subscribe to any plan that cuts out an entire food group. Next: I hate the word diet. It implies temporary. There are too many that think once they hit their goal they can go back to eating what they want. Then they are left wondering what happened? I use a common sense approach. I watch my…

I had a charge HR and now a Surge. LOVE IT!! It may or may not (debatable) be totally accurate but it is enough for me to be able to challenge myself. To stay motivated. To beat yesterday's time or distance. Have I ever had an issue??? Sure. However Fitbit has such a great customer service department. They are super easy…

I have high BP and I am on a low sodium diet. My doctor doesn't believe in fad diets, he just advises to eat smart...eat healthy. No canned goods, lots of fresh. The easiest way is to shop the putter perimeter of the store and stay out of the isles and frozen food section. Doing this and putting down the salt shaker and I…

I personally do not believe that you will loose weight in even increments week after week. Most everyone loses a lump sum at first then it slows. It will slow more for some than for others. Lots of factors. Just stick with it, keep the exercise going and don't give up. You will get there
-
For me personally if I have a cheat day then I am only cheating myself.
-
I have an Aria by Fitbit. It works great. I don't pay attention too much to the BMI. Main reason I have it is because it automatically logs my weight. That's one less thing I have to log. Lol
-
You are on target. In reality, only thirty minutes per day 4 or 5 days per week, even done in ten minute increments is great and is far better than nothing at all. Keep it up. Doing great.
-
To each their own but for me personally I just can't get onto any fad diet bandwagon. Just not my fit. To me it's a common sense approach. Eat healthy and watch your calories along with a diversified exercise regimen.

Get a model that has a heart rate monitor built in. You will find that if you compared to a model without, that the model With is truer accuracy since it is basing solely on steps or time but also factoring in heart rate.
-
I have friends who have had one and then stepped up to a model that is worn on your wrist. The wrist worn model is more accurate. Just a few dollars more

Depends. Where do you live?

Hydration and nutrition play a huge role. It's not just about counting calories. I found once I started taking in protein with 30 minutes post walk, it started helping. But getting the proper nutrition through a balanced diet also helped me tremendously.
-
If you do both, it will basically give you double the calorie credits back on the exercise, thus allowing you to overeat.

Wow!!!!

Amen sista!!! You've hit the nail square on the head.

Everything we do in life is one step at a time. O dog will change anything like health, weight loss etc overnight. One thing I've learned....if I focus on the little things, the bigger things will fall into place. All successes are great. For me: I've lost 23 lbs since October 23 and feel great.
-
Or all plans work for all people. I for one do not believe that a plan where I have to buy their food is worth it. I have never had a real weight issue although I did need to lose about 30 lbs. I can't buy into the fad diets either so I met with a dietician and just went healthy. I primarily watch my sodium, trans &a…

Apples, oranges, bananas etc. you can also do mixed nuts.

What are you eating? Cooking from scratch or canned/boxed goods. I cook everything from scratch. Sodium and sugar occur naturally in so many things we eat. I have come to accept that if the sources are natural sources and not from the added variety, then I'm ok with it. My bloodworm seems to agree

Check out Thomas whole wheat bagels! True, they are 240 calories per bagel but I eat 1/2 of one and I found it satisfies the bagel craving.
